We are committed to providing each of its guests with a safe, fun, friendly surfing experience.
We take pride in providing top quality service, our instructors take pride and joy in introducing you to the ancient art of Hawaiian wave riding. A great activity for people of all ages.
We teaches people how to surf at the Sheraton Beach in Poipu. It is very safe, with only four people per instructor. Instructors also stay with the surfers for the full lesson, never leaving them alone in the ocean.
Instructors start out with a 10-15 minute land lesson at Poipu Surf (2829 Ala Kalanikaumaka St h151 Poipu, Hi. 96756), educating surfers about the surfboard, how to paddle the board, how to stand up, closing with ocean safety tips. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water catching waves.

Itinerary
A private lesson is for 1 Person SURF LESSON DETAILS Each surf lesson will provide you with instructional and safety briefings; a surfboard and leash; approx.
60 minutes of in the water surf time with your instructor.
GUEST POLICIES - Every surfer MUST be able to swim on their own! - Please refer to your waivers to read about Surfer’s Myelopathy Important Note When Selecting Lessons for Kids For ages 6-9, Doug recommends private lessons, which guarantees that the child will ride more waves than in a group lesson.
There are no refunds for students who are unable to finish the lesson based on their ability.
Semi-private and private lessons ensure your child is able to go at their own pace.
Group lessons do not offer the one-on-one attention that younger students need and deserve.
It is highly encouraged to select a semi or private lesson for younger students.

NOTE: TRANSPORTATION NOT PROVIDED. After meeting up in surf shop, all guests will need their own transportation to the beach for the lesson! After initial meet up, guests will follow instructor down the road, to the beach that we use for instruction (behind Kiahuna Plantation). Don't hesitate to call with any questions: (808) 652-9590
