Overview
Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

Itinerary
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

MANDATORY CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE Parking is always available at the Ma'alaea Harbor Shops / Maui Ocean Center parking lot. Harbor parking is very limited, and usually unavailable for morning departures. MAUI HARBOR SHOPS 300 MA'ALAEA ROAD, WAILUKU, HI 96793 Give yourself plenty of time to account for traffic, especially coming from Lahaina. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the Maui Ocean Center / Ma'alaea Harbor Shops parking lot to slip 76-78 Quicksilver / Calypso Charters. Anyone in your party with mobility issues can be dropped off at slip 76-78, ocean-side of Ma'alaea Harbor. MEET AT • Boss Frog's Ma'alaea Harbor and we'll direct you to walk to slip 76-78 Quicksilver / Calypso Charters for check-in and boarding. • 300 Ma'alaea Road, Building 2, Shop# 2N, Wailuku, HI 96793. Downstairs level facing the ocean next to Haven's Restaurant. CHECK-IN SERVICE • A Quicksilver Crew member will be waiting in front of Boss Frog's to direct you to slip 76-78 Quicksilver / Calypso Charters for check-in and boarding.
