Overview
Learn to surf on Maui. Lessons are taught at the best surf beach on the island. Gentle waves and friendly surf coaches will have you standing up and catching waves in no time. Experienced surf coaches, great surf, and small class size will guarantee a memorable time on Maui. All participants must be able to swim in the ocean and in deep water.

Option 1: Learn to surf on Maui. Our friendly and experienced instructors will have you up and riding waves during your 2 hour class. Our small groups make the learning process easy and fun. Aloha!
Itinerary
CHECK-IN at Kalama Beach Park at our Surf Club Maui van, we will outfit you with reef shoes and a rash guard surf shirt.
We start with a short land lesson to go over the safety and technique.
Then our experienced coaches get into the water with you and help you catch waves.
The water is warm, and the waves are usually gentle and the water is about waist to chest deep.
PLEASE BE PREPARED: Please arrive well rested, and be sure to hydrate and Drink plenty of water before your session.
THIS GROUP SURF CLASS IS FOR MIXED AGES 11 AND UP.
If you have younger kids you must book a Private lesson, or a Semi-private family class.
If you arrive with a child under 11 years old the lesson will be canceled and no refunds will be given.
Thank you for your understanding. *NOTE: Surf students must be able to swim in the ocean, if you show up for the class and can not swim or are not comfortable in deep water, the lesson will be canceled and no-refunds will be given. ***Weight limit is 250 per person **WAIVER: We will send you a link to the Online Waiver form, please sign this before your lesson. ***Please bring some cash for a Gratuity (tip) for your instructor.

• Surf Club Maui will provide a lycra surf shirt and reef shoes for use during the lesson • Please wear swimwear • Remember to bring a beach towel if you have one • We have an in-house surf photographer to capture your surfing (photos are available for additional purchase) • Our site offers the following amenities: Free Parking, changing rooms, showers, restrooms, secure storage for your personal belongings. • Gratuities recommended for instructors. •
