Overview
Here at Ohana Surf Project our biggest priority is SAFETY! Our coaches and guides are professional, trained in safety (CPR, lifeguard, first aid), and friendly.
We strive to provide the best service to every person who chooses to join us on the water and we welcome their loved ones who come along to support them as well. We are passionate about what we do and specialize in three ways of teaching you how to glide across the water: surf, stand up paddle and bodyboard. All of our staff members have been in the business for many years and are some of the finest instructors in the industry. We love what we do and we enjoy working together, as a team and as ohana, to make our students feel safe, comfortable, and successful.

Packages & Options
Open Group (2hr)
Duration: 2 hours Requirements: All participants must be 13 years or older and able to swim. This is a shared experience with other students. Pickup included
Exclusive Group (2hr)
Duration: 2 hours Requirements: All participants of our exclusive group lesson must 13 years or older and able to swim. Minimum of 3 for this private group. Pickup included
Family Lesson (2hr)
Duration: 2 hours Requirements: Must include at least one child 12 or younger & 1 parent. All participants must be able to swim and paddle their own boards. Pickup included
Semi-Private (1hr)
Duration: 1 hour Requirements: All participants must be 13 years or older and able to swim. Two students with one instructor. Pickup included
Open Group (1hr)
Duration: 1 hour Requirements: All participants must be 13 years or older and able to swim. This is a shared experience with other students. Pickup included
Semi-Private (2hr)
Duration: 2 hours Requirements: All participants must be 13 years or older and able to swim. Ratio of two students to one instructor. Pickup included
1-to-1 Private (1hr)
Duration: 1 hour Requirements: All ages & abilities. Recommended for children 6 and younger, non-swimmers, students with experience. Pickup included
Family Lesson (1hr)
Duration: 1 hour Family Lesson Requirements: Must include at least one child 12 or younger & 1 parent. All participants must be able to swim and paddle their own boards. Pickup included

Itinerary
Hop on the Surf School Bus!
Enjoy our complimentary Waikiki shuttle to the Ohana Surf Center at the Waikiki Beach Marriott.
Ride in our clean, air-conditioned yellow bus or white shuttle van with our logo.
After check-in, gear-up, and a quick safety briefing, we’ll shuttle you to the beach.
Meet your instructor, discuss your experience and comfort level, then head to the ocean with your high-quality board.
Once you're ready, we hit the water!
After your lesson, return to the Surf Center to view photos, videos, and shop merch—then we’ll shuttle you back to your drop-off location.

Meeting & Logistics
Your pick up or meet at instructions will be emailed to you directly from Ohana Surf Project at least 24 hours before your lesson time.

Special Instructions
• Exact pick-up location and time will be emailed to you by the supplier. If you have have not received a detailed description of your pick up time and location 24 hours in advance of your lesson, please contact the supplier at 808.599.7873 or osp@ohanasurfproject.com. • Please come prepared for the lesson by wearing your bathing suit, bringing a towel and making sure to apply sunscreen ahead of time. We will provide you with a long sleeve surf shirt and protective reef shoes to wear during the lesson. We will also provide you with the water equipment needed. • If any participants cannot swim please advise the staff ahead of time. • If any participants have any medical conditions or injuries that we should be aware of please advise the staff ahead of time. • If you do not receive pick-up details by 24 hours prior to tour date, please contact the local supplier to confirm at 808.599.7873 or osp@ohanasurfproject.com. This operator requires you to contact them directly prior to this tour/activity.

- If you are prone to seasickness, you may want to take a remedy you are accustomed to using about an hour before the lesson (talk to your doctor for recommendations).
- All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Chinese speaking-instructors without enough advance notice.
- Complimentary transportation is available from select locations in Waikiki. Exact pick-up location and time will be emailed to you by the supplier. If you do not receive these details 24 hours prior to your lesson, please contact Ohana Surf Project.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
