If you like books and you want to buy them cheap, visit this year’s Friends of the Library book sale, which takes place at the Mc Kinley High School cafeteria. You can find books on many topics, such as health, poetry, gardening, art, music, psychology and many more. They are have a large CD and gramophone records for sale. On July 5, the second last day of the event, everything will be 50% off. And on the final day, July 6, everything will be just 50 cents.

            <description>King Kamehameha Statue Decoration Ceremony

Come and watch the annual King Kamehameha Decoration Ceremony. The Royal Hawaiian Band will give a concert at 3:30 pm at the Honolulu Civic Center. The statue itself will be decorated with 13 feet long flower leis, which volunteers will create right there throughout the day. Music and hula performances will also take place. Take your camera with you! There will be another parade and events on June 7. Call 586-0333 for more information.
