Set off on a memorable underwater journey along Hawai‘i Island’s stunning east coast with the 1 Tank Boat Dive aboard the Malama I Ke Kai. This 2.5-hour adventure is tailored for certified divers and their snorkeling companions eager to explore vibrant coral reefs and volcanic formations without a lengthy commitment. Guided by experienced local divemasters and guides, dive depths range from 40 to 70 feet, where you’ll encounter schools of tropical fish, graceful Hawaiian green sea turtles, and the breathtaking underwater landscape. After the dive, enjoy snacks and beverages while soaking up the coastal views of Hilo Bay and Mauna Kea.

- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Certified Junior Divers are permitted on this tour however all Certified Junior Divers who will not be accompanied by an adult must contact Hilo Ocean Adventures prior to booking for special consideration.
- This tour requires that your last logged dive be within the last 2 years. If your last logged dive is longer than 2 years ago please book the pricing option that includes the refresher course.
- Please consider your other travel plans as it is a safety requirement that you do NOT travel to altitudes of 2500 ft or higher within an 18 hour period following your dive
- All divers must be able to show proof of Open Water Diver certification or higher upon check-in.
