Itinerary

  • Drive through the eclectic town of Paia an old plantation era town
  • Considered the windsurfing capital of the world, you can enjoy watching wind surfers, kite boarders and surfers challenge the oceans waves and shoreline winds. This is also the Threatened Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle capital of Maui, with 200-pound turtles feeding along the shoreline and basking on the beach all day long.
  • Stop for a bathroom break and maybe grab a coffee from this local Surf Coffee Store named after the famous 60ft wave "Jaws". (20 mins)
  • Ready for the adventure? We get into the famous Road to Hana, which covers 59 single lane bridges, over 640 turns and curves, through lush, tropical rainforest. Most of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910.
  • Lose yourself in Maui's lush. Enjoy the Bamboo forest and Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees.
  • Let's grab a Banana Bread from famous Aunty's Sandy (featured in Gordon Ramsey show Uncharted) and then go explore the Ke'anae Lava Fields. (30 mins)
  • This 365-days-a-year waterfall is the perfect place for pics and swimming (weather permitted). Hope you bring your bathing suit and a towel! (30 mins)
  • Let's get you a headlamp and take you explore this 200,000 years old Lava Tube! (20 mins)

  • **CURRENTLY CLOSED BY NATIONAL PARK SERVICE** O`heo Gulch, also incorrectly known as “The Seven Sacred Pools”, is located in the Kipahulu area of Haleakala National Park. In reality, there are more like twenty-four pools. A one mile long loop trail goes down to the pools and ocean, then up and around, back to the parking area. NOTE: The National Park Service has closed access to the Pools indefinitely. Please see the NPS website. Weather, safety, timing and unexpected closure permitting.
  • Amazing place for beautiful cliff pictures. Visit Charles A. Lindbergh’s grave. The famed aviator lived his last days on this lush Hana coast. Today, he lies at rest on the serene grounds of the Palapala Ho’omau Church in lovely Kipahulu. The adjacent limestone coral church was built in 1857. (20 mins)
  • Rugged coastline, unpaved road, welcome to the Back Side of Hana. Feel like going off-road with these amazing roads and views.
