It’s Your Day — Your Way on O‘ahu’s North Shore
Experience the original North Shore activities tour, locally owned and operated for a more authentic O‘ahu adventure. With more time off the bus than any other tour, this experience is designed for travelers who want to explore, not just sightsee.
The Surf Bus lets you choose your activities on the day of the tour, once you see ocean conditions and available options. All activity rental gear is included, so there’s nothing extra to plan or stress about.
Enjoy up to 1.5 hours in historic Hale‘iwa Town, where you’ll have time for:
Lunch and Shop Local. Matsumoto Shave-ice. Optional kayaking or SUP with the chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles .
Choose how active—or relaxed—you want your day to be, with options such as snorkeling, kayaking, biking, waterfall visits, or simply exploring at your own pace.

Itinerary
- Choose to spend your time between swimming on the crystal clear waters of Waimea Bay, snorkeling at Shark's Cove (one of Oahu's marine sanctuaries), bike ride the "Tree Tunnel Bike Path", or visit the biggest collection of Polynesian plants at Waimea Valley and swim at the Falls. (240 mins)
- Beautiful Sunset beach
- Watch professional surfers tackle the infamous Pipeline wave ! We only stop during winter and fall months when the waves are breaking. (15 mins)
- Snorkel at one of the three marine sanctuaries on Oahu! (60 mins)
- Spend time on the biggest collection of Polynesian plants in Hawaii! Swim at the waterfall at the end of the trail! (60 mins)
- Historic Haleiwa Town is an old plantation style town where you will find lots of art galleries and quaint shops, as well as the famous shave ice stands. (30 mins)
- Here you will find Matsumoto shave ice, quaint art galleries and local souvenirs! (30 mins)
- Drive by Dole Plantation and see the pineapple and coffee plantations on the way to the North Shore.
- Try macadamia nuts and have free Kona coffee ! (20 mins)
