Being the top floor corner in building 4, the location is truly wonderful! A great option for 6 people. The amazing wrap around lanai is truly stunning, with those Ocean Views!
Immediately upon walking in you'll appreciate soaring open beam ceilings, truly makes the space feel large. 1148 interior square feet, with an additional 449 square foot lanai. Wow, lots of space!
Enjoy a Fully Equipped Kitchen, nice and spacious your meals! Bar Stools Available for Countertop dining too!
The Lanai is where one will spend lots of time either outdoor dining, or enjoying relaxation time!
Enjoy Air Conditioning Wall units in the Living Room & Both Main Floor Bedrooms. There is no AC in the Loft 3rd bedroom as an FYI, but there are ceiling fans, and a window for the breeze to come through!
The Primary Master bedroom has ocean views and access to the Lanai. King Sized Bed, comfortable mattress, and beautiful furnishings.

The Kona Makai complex is a beautifully maintained & highly sought after Ocean Front Complex located on famous Alii Drive, just 1.3 miles from Kona town. This wonderful complex features and includes beautifully manicured tropical grounds, ocean front pool and spa, sunny lounge area, two work out rooms, eating area w/ gas BBQ’s, tennis courts, ping pong table, ample parking, and is gated during the night for security.

Currently they are estimating between 1.5 - 2 Months to complete each building for this work.

The painting and spalling contractor has agreed to take a break from work for Ironman and the Christmas holidays. Work will stop from October 21st-29th for Ironman. Work will stop from December 23rd- January 3rd for the Holidays
All dates are subject to change and Knutson & Associates has no say or control in if dates are changed. Dates are given by the complex's hired painting vendor.

The whole VRBO experience, to include the booking process, the local management, price, logistics, and apartment all met or exceeded expectations. I needed assistance with the door code because of a mistake I made and the mgt company responded in minutes. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, and offers a lot of towels and misc items for the beach. There are only steps to get to third floor which didn’t bother us and the views are worth it. The common shared areas offer tennis courts, pool, grills and great views of ocean. I would stay there again if ever back in Kona.

This was a great property for our trip to Kona. It is about a one-mile walk into downtown Kona, but there is a close and delicious coffee shop for first thing in the morning. The condo was a comfortable stay for our 3 adults. We had initially planned to have 2 additional adults so my elderly mother was going to sleep in the loft. It worked well that the additional guests cancelled as the loft access is more of a ships ladder than it is stairs. I would recommend it for the very young or old. The condo is well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen as well as everything you could need for the beach. The property manager was responsive to our requests and reached out several times (via text) to ensure all was good. We had a great time and will look to stay there again in the future.
