We are thrilled to introduce you to our newly remodeled penthouse suite, Hokulani 749, located at the award-winning Honua Kai Resort & Spa. We purchased this stunning unit in May 2024 and decided to completely remodel it before making it available to guests. The transformation, inspired by a modern beach house aesthetic, features exquisite designer touches and luxurious finishes throughout.
As owners at Honua Kai since 2017, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting hundreds of guests and earning over 100 five-star reviews on our other listings. We’re excited to offer you the same exceptional experience at Hokulani 749.

Hokulani 749 is one of the best units on the property, boasting arguably the best direct and unobstructed beach and ocean view of any 2-bedroom condo at Honua Kai. Positioned on the top floor with no palm trees or other obstructions (like Duke's Restaurant) to block the view, you’ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of the ocean and golden sunsets, all from the comfort of your condo. With its prime location one unit away from the last condo at the "49 stack" in the Hokulani tower the views are absolutely unrivaled.
Kitchen: The gourmet kitchen is a showstopper with its brand-new designer water drop pendants, top-of-the-line appliances, and all the cookware and dishes you need to prepare your meals. Whether you're whipping up breakfast before a beach day or crafting a gourmet dinner, you'll love the convenience and beauty of the kitchen. It’s also stocked with a Vitamix blender, coffee maker, and BBQ tools to ensure you have everything for your stay.
Views & Whales: You'll spend hours mesmerized by the expansive views of the ocean and coastline. If you're visiting during whale season (December through April), you're in for a treat! Watch humpback whales breaching and playing in the waters just beyond the shore. It’s a magical experience that’s sure to leave a lasting impression.
Luxurious Remodel: The condo has just undergone a complete remodel in May 2024, with a fresh, contemporary style that blends modern design with island charm. Location, location, location; we loved the location of this property. Close enough to most things, but not overwhelmingly crowded like Kaanapali south of Black Rock.
Property is very well-equipped for vacation, including the little things you might not expect like a cooler, beach chairs, foam roller and yoga mat.
Having a kitchen (also well-equipped) and laundry was also made life more convenient. Super easy check-in with clear instructions. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive when we had questions.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came in late and the staff at Honua Kai we very helpful in getting us parked and into our room. The room itself was beautiful, everything looked new. First thing when we woke int he morning we went to the patio and were blown away by how beautiful the view was!! The pools, access to the beach, and local restaurants were great for us! The hosts provided beach chairs, cooler and football for some fun in the sun too which was great when traveling to other beaches around the island!
Next time on Maui we will reach out and look to stay in this unit again!

The place was just as described fully stocked. Chairs for the beach kitchen had everything we needed. The location right by dukes is awesome the view from the lanai amazing. The hosts always available and helpful. Would definitely stay here again . Beautiful and clean well taken care of place.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Honua Kai and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property was exactly as described, if not better. The spacious living area was perfect.
The location was ideal, situated right on the beach with exceptional sunset views.
The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Their attention to detail truly made our stay special.
The property was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Honua Kai to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or family-friendly vacation spot. We can’t wait to return!

Location on the island was great with dinning, shopping, long walking path, great beach, and good snorkeling surrounding you. Unit is beautiful with everything you need. Parking is great under the building with an elevator right to the hallway the unit is on. Owner checked in with us and was available if we needed anything, but we did not. I hope to stay here again.

Perfect in everyway - On the beach, next to the pool with million dollar ocean views. Perfect for a family vacation with 2 separate bedrooms and well equipped kitchen
If there is any thing that I would have liked to have seen it would be a pair of life vests and some snorkelling sets
