Our interior finishes are excellent quality, with dual paned windows, and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. Queen size mattress, large bathroom with laundry facilities, living room and kitchen/dining area. The cottage is 500 sq. feet, providing a cozy and intimate experience for guests. As your host, we offer free, fast, and reliable internet as well as a TV in the bedroom equipped with an Amazon Fire Stick for your entertainment, though we suspect you'll want to spend most of your down time sipping a cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine on our spacious covered lanai to enjoy the beauty and sounds of nature.
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage and carport, which is situated on a 1/2 acre lot encompassed by native forest.
For your convenience and flexibility, we offer self check-in. A lockbox code will be provided to you the morning of your arrival. The lockbox is opened by entering the code given to you. Then, you must push the black release lever left and pull down the front of the lockbox door toward you. Once you retrieve the keys, return the lockbox door to its locked position and scramble the lockbox numbers.
Please remove your shoes before entering as is the custom in Hawai'i.
Our full sized kitchen is available for guests to use with Keurig coffee maker and coffee and tea gratis. There is also an in-unit washer and dryer available to guests.

We recommend bringing a rain jacket, long pants, and warm socks. We have two small umbrellas available for guests to use. When it's raining, the house may get musty, despite our best efforts. We do provide a dehumidifier, ceiling fans, and a heater that work very well to keep our cottage fresh and moisture low.
Outdoor living on the covered lanai has never been more enjoyable; with seating perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, and a propane fire pit to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Because of our lush forest surroundings, please be aware that we sometimes have critters roaming around in the area outdoors, including but not limited to pheasants, spiders, and mosquitos.
The household tap water is fresh rainwater collected on site, double-filtered, and UV treated for home use; however, if you prefer not to drink from the tap, we recommend bringing bottled water. Living on an ...
