This home is situated on the walking trail of Walua Road.
The Walua Trail is a welcoming, paved path that offers a scenic, social setting for walkers, joggers, and bikers. This 6-mile out-and-back trail is popular with both locals and visitors, providing a quieter, low-traffic alternative. The trail is partially isolated from traffic, though some sections run alongside a residential road. The route gradually gains elevation over the first three miles, especially after 1.5 miles in, making the return a refreshing and speedy downhill.

The sunny Kona district is known for its clear waters and historic Hawaiian landmarks such as the Hulihe’e Palace, Moku’aikaua Church and Ahu’ena Heiau, about 8 miles south of the keahole-Kona Airport. Kona is also known for its famous deep-sea fishing, annually hosting the International Billfish Tournament (August), world championship triathlon race, ironman (October) and Kona coffee in the cooler upland slopes.
