Notice: this unit has been completely renovated this past Summer. We installed a new water heater and refreshed the interior finishes. While the outside of Hale Moi sadly suffers from neglect from the Homeowners Association, we have taken good care of the interior and it features everything you would need for a pleasant stay at an affordable price.

Enjoy a prime location for an affordable price on the North Shore of Kaua'i above Hideaway beach and by Hotel One, you can walk to Hanalei Bay and enjoy stunning sunsets. Please note that folks pay $3k for rooms at Hotel One and you can stay next door for a tiny fraction of that price. Take in beautiful tropical sunrises on the private lanai overlooking the jungle. Walk to Queens bath and Hanalei Point Beach below Hotel One. This is side A which includes a full kitchen and full bathroom. Our beautiful condo will provide everything you need at an affordable price for the North Shore of Kauai. The kitchen and the bathroom feature granite countertops.

You will have full private access to the entire side A, which is private and features a kitchen and bathroom and the large main room features a living area and a sleeping area and a private lanai.

We live in Hilo, Hawaii and we have staff on the North Shore that can be of help in case of an emergency.

Hale Moi is located on the Eastern tip of Hanalei Bay, overlooking Hideaway beach and a short walk from the St Regis Hotel. It's a short and easy hike to the beach below the St Regis Hotel, which is simply spectacular and offers stunning views of Hanalei Bay. You can also walk to Queen's bath. Please note that Princeville is on a bluff at 200' elevation. To get to any beach you will need to walk back uphill. Also note that Hideaway beach is aptly named because it's hidden and the terrain to access it is steep. The walk to the beach below the St Regis is very easy but takes longer.

While there is public transportation to and from the St Regis Hotel, we still recommend you rent a car. The North Shore of Kaua'i is rural and thus everything is spread out.

First and foremost, you are booking a condo situated in the tropics on the windward side of Hawaii. Expect to encounter heat, frequent rainfall, and overall high humidity, and bugs. While our condo has great exposure to the pleasant cool trade winds, there will be days without trade winds where it will be much warmer. We do our best to provide you with a mold free and bug free environment. However, this is the tropics, so we cannot guarantee the complete absence of mold or bugs. We do recommend guests sleep with earplugs due to the large number of Kaua'i roosters that crow at all hours of the night.

One additional note on the weather: while most of the time it rains at night and early in the Morning, it's not unheard of to get rained out. This is rare but we want you to know that we do not offer weather based refunds unless it's a natural disaster. If you happen to be unlucky and you run into such a rainy period, there is usually a dry sunny beach somewhere on the island within an hour's drive. You can reach out to us anytime for suggestions on where to go....
