2-302 The Beach Villas at Kahaluu is the perfect place for family and friends to stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. The vacation rental has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an ocean view from the private lanai. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced in accordance with local ordinances.
The Space:
Vacationers will find themselves in an ideal location for island activities. Right across the street is Kahaluu Beach Park - considered by many to be the best snorkeling spot in Hawaii. Fed by fresh spring water, up to 10 million gallons per day, these waters are almost always calm, with colorful corals, rock formations, and 100+ species of fish.
Each room in the home features tropical decorations and furnishings for a refreshing atmosphere. The unit opens into an open floor plan consisting of the living room and kitchen. To the right a chef can cook mouthwatering meals or tasty snacks. The kitchen is well equipped with upgraded black appliances and ample counter space. Four bar stools are arranged to create dining space. Although you are in Hawaii, so take your meals outside to the private lanai. The lanai has a patio table and chairs, so you can dine and sip on a pina colada while watching mesmerizing sunsets over the ocean.
The living room has plenty of seating options and a TV. Pop a movie in the DVD player and relax with your guests at the end of the night. WiFi, central air conditioning, and a washer/dryer are provided to ensure your comfort.
The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-sized bed, TV, doors to the lanai, and a private bathroom. The guest bedroom is suitable for accommodating the kids as it has two Twin-sized beds and TV. A guest bathroom is located right across the hallway.
Be sure to utilize all the other amenities The Beach Villas at Kahalu'u offers. The unit includes one parking space, access to the outdoor pool and hot tub with ocean views, and BBQ stations.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- The pool gate lock code will only work between 9am and 9pm.
- The pool bathroom door lock code will only work between 7am and 9pm.
- The street gate lock code will work 24/7.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
- Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival....

Very nice place, with access to a wonderful beach (although it was a bit rocky and the snorkeling during our six-day stay was very good, but not fantastic). However, I resented that Grand Welcome Vacations required us to agree to terms and conditions at the last minute, when we had already left home, rather than disclosing them earlier. (Indeed, we had to complete paperwork from two separate sites while we were already on our vacation.) Also, the information booklet provided in the unit contained generic information about sights and activities around the island, but didn't highlight site-specific information; in particular, it would have been nice to highlight that there was a large shopping center quite close to the unit.

Great location , kitchen well equipped & the unit was perfect for a girls vacation. We stayed 8 nights & enjoyed the quiet complex. The view from the l lanai was perfect. The beach was across the street from our unit! We all would stay here again.

It's the hidden gem (or maybe not so hidden anymore) of the Kona coast. Just across from the best snorkeling in the area and close to everything. Views, comfort and Hawaiian vibe, what else to ask?

We visited 4 Hawaiian Islands in 3 weeks, with all stays booked via vrbo, so we have some comparison. This was hands down the best apartment we had, at best value for money!
The apartment has a very good layout for a family with grown-up kids, large bathrooms, very nice master bedroom, closets of useable size, a nice balcony with good view. The building has easy access to apartments and zero interference with neighbours, also on the balcony.
If you have any snorkeling in mind (as we had), the location is absolutely unbeatable. With Kahuluu bay virtually at your doorstep, this is like having one of the best snorkeling spots of the Big Island as your private pool.
Also conveniently located on the Kona coast with good access to highway, for airport and excursions. Supermarket is convenient 3 minutes by car (and TCA is a good one).
So if you like the Big Island, snorkeling, being away from the hustle of a town, but still centrally located, this is the best package.

There are 4 condos on the 3rd floor of this building. 2-301 is the closest to the beach, and 2-302 is the 2nd closest. Fantastic view, can hear the waves from the balcony (and the big ones from the bedroom). Furnished fairly well - found one of everything we needed except measuring cups. A bit out of downtown - 15 minutes to the hustle and bustle but 5 to a nearby shopping plaza with decent food (habanero's was surprisingly good and also affordable) and a supermarket. In the outside closet, there were boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella, and a great snorkel set. Loved it.

Across the street, Kahalu'u Beachpark with some of the best snorkeling on the Big Island. South a bit from town, so pretty quiet down here. Nice place, no surprises. Recommended.

We picked this property based on its location because we wanted easy access to snorkeling. The property was great and suited our family well. We had some minor technical issues with the check-in details, but that was before our departure and everything was quickly fixed. The rental had everything we needed, and we appreciated some of the beach items that were available for our use as well. Definitely recommend!

We stayed with my family for 9 night, overall unit in good condition, few concern booth baths vessel sink looking nice, but it way too high off the floor, it very hard to use it. Main kitchen light did not working, after contacting management, they send electrician, but he didnt fix it. No shampoo or condition for shower, very limited supply of paper towel(one roll for whole stay), garbage bags(just 4 extra), toilet paper(2 extra small rolls per bath). requested restocking, they said it is our responsibility.
