This is actually one of my favorite suites at the Waikiki Grand, not only for the price but the comfort level. I think the kitchen area is great too - ideal counter space for food prep (or great bar area for pre-dinner cocktails with friends) the Views of Diamond head are awesome and the comfort of the place is just right.
This unit features breathtaking views of Diamond Head and Kapiolani Park. Upgraded with beautiful wood cabinets and details. The Queen size bed makes this a comfortable place spend a few days or a few weeks. The wall mounted TV and full bathroom will make this an enjoyable stay. There is a closet for hanging clothes, two refrigerators, microwave, and coffee maker, new bathroom with shower and vanity area.
Enjoy Sunrise and Sunsets, movies on the beach, the roar of the lions from the zoo, the locals folks trekking back and forth to the beach all day from this large lanai with comfortable furnishings.
The unit features a queen size bed with contemporary Island furnishings, air conditioning, large windows to enjoy the views, an armoire for hanging clothes, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, new bathroom with shower and vanity area.
This is an ideal place to spend two days or two months. Perfect for the active couple who wants to participate in the outdoor activities of the neighborhood ... swimming, hiking, biking, ocean kayaking, surfing, tennis, jogging and more. The perfect affordable get-away.

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, couteous, and provided optimum service. the room was clean, comfortable. It was nice that you provide amenities .refrigerator, dishes, utensels, coffee maker, toaster and cook ware. It was nice that the hotel was near the beach and in a good location.

Building was older 1963. Rooms were up to date. Felt very welcome and at home. Onsite 24 hr managers at the front desk were very helpful with everything, even day to day activities helped point us in right direction even googled things for us. Better price on our stay then any other place we could have stay. Had one slight issue with getting new beding but that was because of the person behind counter was brand new 2nd day giving her a pass on that was shorty fixed not a big deal. I would stay again anytime. Nothing bad to say

Our overall impression was that the unit was adequate for our short stay, but there is certainly room for improvement. An additional rack or two for hanging towels or bathing suits would be quite helpful. Also, a suitcase stand would be great, as we needed to use the kitchen stools to keep our luggage off the floor.

Great location - close to Waikiki Beach and Zoo and a great Diamond Head view. Located just on the edge of busy areas that were just a short walk away - restaurants and shopping. We were given a code to get in but locks had been changed and we had to wait at front desk to check in. Several light bulbs were out, making is a dim space including the windowless bathroom. Very few outlets, that we needed to charge electronics. Mold was beginning to grow under the misplaced air conditioner. Location of unit blew air directly on you when sleeping. We appreciated the beach gear available for us to use.
