Beautiful ocean views out both sides of the unit. No need for air conditioning with the trade winds blowing. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need for a week long visit. Highly recommend.

Could not recommend this gem of a location enough!! The views and area are spectacular. Perfect for 1-2 people. Jan is incredibly helpful and communicative. Overall, the perfect place for my fiancé and I to use as a home base while visiting Oahu!

We had to, sadly, say goodbye to this wonderful spot at the Diamond Head Hotel & Residences after 8 nights there. We cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The studio is exactly as described, beautiful, well appointed, with outstanding views from both sides, everything we could need to make our stay as comfortable as our own home.
Jan, the owner, was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. She made sure that we had everything that we needed, and answered questions quickly when we had them.
My favorite part of our stay was the cooling trade winds that blew through the apartment, the sound of the waves, the change of the weather, and the light at sunrise and sunset. There really are no words adequate enough to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. It certainly changed the way we always viewed staying on this shore, in town, this close to Waikiki. We tend to favor the North Short, but spending time in the Diamond Head neighborhood, with the park, the little hidden beaches, and so may places to walk in the morning, certainly changed our minds. It was simply idyllic.
We will most definitely return at some point in the future, and if not us next, some of our Ohana because they most certainly will hear of our experience and see our photos! Mahalo for everything - every little thoughtful touch, your kindness, and for sharing it with us. We loved every minute of our stay.

Beautiful, well kept building with great amenities on the property and within walking distance. Amazing views from the unit. The unit was comfortable and well appointed. The host was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

I can't say enough good things about the property and the owner. As soon as I booked I knew we were in good hands. The owner, Jan, is wonderful at communication and offers a wealth of information to help you get the most out of your stay. Inside the room, make sure to check the binder filled with great tips and suggestions. Additionally, the room itself is so well appointed. You can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into creating a restful space with amenities I have not had at other stays in Hawaii.
And the place itself, WOW. The views are incredible. The location is perfect, being in the city but not in the city. I have stayed in Waikiki and while it is nice in some aspects, it can be noisy and even a bit stressful, if constant activity is not what you are looking for. This property is the antidote. Also, the room is immaculate, and the property is secure and well-maintained.
Also, you can't get closer to the water. It's right there! You can get in the water anytime you want, which I did, from an access staircase close by. I am an avid snorkeler and to me, this was more than I had hoped for. I also appreciated greatly the ability to use the hosts beach equipment. I normally have to borrow it from my local family, which is great as well, but I didn't have to bother anyone this time!
You cannot go wrong if you book this property. I am so grateful to Jan for making my trip as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! I will book again for sure. Thank you!

We stayed a week and the penthouse was fantastic with incredible views, wonderful location with small private comfortable grassy area for lounging and swim. Jan is a great communicator. It was great to be able to “drop in” to waikiki then return to the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.

Can't say enough about the location! Close enough to walk but not in the middle of all the noise. Jan (owner) was great with suggestions and communication. The property was super clean. Great at night to sit out and have a glass of wine, enjoy the ocean.

Great running/walking route to Kahala with scenic vistas. Street parking was easily available and free. Love the backyard/lanai- beautiful location for watching sunrise/sunset with unobstructed view of the ocean. Swimming/surfing off the sea wall, but best snorkeling is 1/2 block away at Kamaina beach. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, well stocked with toiletries, towels, coffee, kitchen utensils (microwave) even beach equipment. Room is small and Penthouse description is misleading- it is #4 of 5 units, so not a great view from either side and no personal lanai. Still, a great bargain given the location.
