Enjoy the wonderful sunrises at this extremely private studio with its' own private entrance overlooking the ocean. There is a California King bed and two queen sized sofa beds as well as a TV with an extensive selection of DVDs as well as Netflix, HBO and Hulu. There is also WiFi.
There is a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom as well as a lanai with a fabulous view. Included is the use of the 70 foot swimming pool and pavilion with barbecue and additional bathroom. The beginning of the pool starts off very shallow and gradually gets deeper. It is surrounded by natural rocks and a waterfall with three streams on one end. The pool is closed on Thursdays for cleaning and maintenence. We are 15-20 minutes north of Hilo Hawaii.

We stayed at the property for about a week and it was really beautiful! We enjoyed the view and gorgeous sunrise every morning and the beautiful porch! Rosalyn was very nice too. There are cows and sheep at nearby properties, which was pretty neat to see.
It should be noted that pool hours are only from 12 noon to 5pm each day, which we were unaware of until we arrived. This made swimming difficult for our kids who wanted to wake up and jump in each morning. We also had trouble getting back from our daily excursions in time to have time to swim. You may not jump from the edges of the pool, which was hard for the kids. The pool is shared with Rosalyn. The pool is closed all day on Friday for cleaning. Due to the weather and closeness to the ocean the pool has a lot of algae. I believe she is going to attempt a new pool vacuum soon? It is a very unique pool!

House is like a studio apartment. 1 king bed and 2 sofa beds. Sofa bed wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. Kitchen comes with the basics pot and pans and stuff like that. Place could use a small dresser, There is a closet there. There are geckos. Got to see some cows come over by the fence on the neighbors side. No ac but opening all the windows and turning on the fan keeps it pretty cool. Roslyn was very friendly.
Pros:- it has a swimming pool part of it is shallow and deep, also shower and bathroom by the pool
-Stayed upstairs in a mother in law type house away from the main house
-the view of the ocean is great from up on the hill
- love that there aren’t a ton of neighbors and your on 5 acres property
- I like that we were only 15 minutes away from Hilo
- love the big deck to look out at the ocean
-there’s a ton of dvds to watch and there’s a cabinet thing with games in it
Cons: - wish there was a washer and dryer
-No wifi when we stayed but the new router should be there now.
-wish there was a some curtains, the sun in the morning gets bright.
