We had a great 10 day stay at the garden island resort, Kapaa shores. The front desk staff were amazing when we were having transportation issues. A106, although a little dated, was still quite comfortable. The views and location were excellent.

Overall, absolutely amazing! The view from the porch and just being able to get up, pour a cup of coffee each morning, walk 50' and being on the shore in a lounge chair to watch the sunrise over the ocean is worth every penny! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star (if they had 4.5, I would have given an extra half star) is because I felt a bit misled by the description. While it does have AC, it is only in the bedroom and not nearly enough to cool the house. This means our 10 yo on the sofa bed had trouble sleeping due to the heat. The other thing to know is it lists washer/dryer BUT that isn't in the room but rather a $2 a load laundromat on the property. Other than those two issues, we loved it and even with those issues, we would consider staying there again and just adjusting our expectations and pack different. The wife packed assuming we would have a washer and this stressed her out and made us plan outings around loads.

If youre looking for a getaway with an ocean view then this is the place for you! Spacious inside and absolutely STUNNING of the ocean from the back sliding doors and balcony. Worth every penny...Enjoy!!!

Great place. Loved the location and being able to sit outside on the patio furniture. The kitchen was fully stocked and was nice to be able to cook our meals there. The only negative was the pull out bed and no ac unit in the living room. Kids slept out in the living room and it got warm. Other than that we loved it and would stay here again.

This unit is a gem, located a few steps from the ocean. It is comfortable and well maintained. It is the perfect location for access to shopping and services. Easy drive to either the North or South of the Island. The management company is very helpful and attentive. Love this property.

Condo was spotless, well maintained and equipped. The unit has been renovated and updated. Had some issues and property management company responded immediately with a focus on customer service. The resort needs to provide umbrellas for much needed shade around the pool. I would stay here again and recommend.

It’s spotless and well maintained. It is equipped with everything you need and the furniture is comfortable and in good condition. The location is perfect! We’ve been to Hawaii (Maui, Kauai, Oahu, Hawaii (the Big Island) many times. We’ve done the expensive, but beautiful, resort hotels and other condos. This is where we want to return to. Hopefully we will be back next year!
