This stay was great! The unit was remodeled relatively recently and was very clean. The location is ~2 blocks from Waikiki beach and 3 blocks from many of the malls in Waikiki. We found the bed and pillows comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools you’d need to cook for yourself. We were glad they also provided beach towels and chairs for our use. Another major bonus was the included parking, which can cost 55$/night elsewhere! Byron was the property manager and he was easy to reach by text or call if we had any questions.

This condo was a good size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child). The kids slept well in the pull out bed. The kitchen had all utensils needed, you just bring the food. There was enough room for us. There are not a lot of drawers to store your clothes but there are hangers in the closet. We didn't need the drawers, we kept our things in our luggage. Waikiki beach and the strip is a few mins walking distance. We always found parking in the parking lot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was recently renovated, so new finishes throughout. It was clean, and Byron was very responsive and helpful. The location is wonderful - very close to the beach as well as shops and restaurants.

Absolutely perfect! Traveling by with family members and we all loved the kitchen and balcony. Great views of Diamondhead, and from the balcony we could see the water. Super walkable location, clean and friendly building. Amazing to have parking included and onsite. Will absolutely return for next Oahu trip.

Great location — short walk to Waikiki Beach, shopping, restaurants — lots to do and see. Parking garage for our rental car was handy — drove to North Shore a couple of times, absolutely beautiful. Nice view of Diamondhead and ocean from condo — enjoyed sitting on lanai w tea every morning watching the neighborhood wake up — with waves and boats in the distance.

We enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyan. The condo had a nice amount of space for family meals and was in a convenient location. There were a few times the pool was closed when we wanted to use it but overall liked the pool, hot tubs, sauna and the space for grilling. The elevators were very slow and one was not working most of the time.

Good position, good views of Diamond Head and the beach, close to the main beach and main street, only a 3 minute walk. Air con needs replacing, unit was noisy and filter vent kept falling off, and fan speed didn't work across 3 speeds, only medium speed. Unit clean, communication good, lifts are very slow, sometimes 5 to 10mins waiting for a lift. Also a kettle could not be located.

The place was clean and modern. Could have used a little TLC in a few spots but no more than you'd expect from a rental. The view was great even with a few large buildings in the way. Just a sorry walk from the beach and good shopping.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and straightforward. I truly appreciated that there wasn’t a laundry list of check out procedures that occurs with other rentals. Property is a 5-10 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and nearby shops- very convenient. The free parking was a big plus. Nice-sized kitchen with full-size stove, oven microwave, refrigerator and other appliances. Keep in mind that items such as spices (except salt, pepper and some sugar) and condiments are not furnished if this is a norm for you. Because of this, we did not cook as much as desired.Bedroom and living area were comfortable and adequate. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas!Though not the fault of the unit or rental company, be aware that there may be disruptions due to multiple sirens/emergencies in the neighborhood. If you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs.Rating is four stars because again it was a nice stay. However, the cleanliness and condition, specifically the bathroom and kitchen appliances (fingerprints) could be improved. There is paint peeling in the bathroom and the bathroom fan has a large collection of dust in the vent. Bathtub appears to be slightly older with some wear and tear.Although we probably would not rent this particular unit again, we would gladly rent with Captain Cook again!

Room is a dump. Asked front reception to use the restroom and they said restrooms are locked and can only be used by permanent residents. Parking garage spots are too small.

We stayed here on a quick 4-day trip while I was working in Kapolei. It's the perfect location for all of what you need in Waikiki. Byron our contact was great and the unit and building were everything you'd expect for a reasonably priced condo in town. Would definitely stay again! Aloha.
