Starting September 3rd 2024 the Kanaloa parking lot will be re-paved. The project will be done in sections from Sept 3rd through the end of November. Amazing oceanfront property with gorgeous views overlooking a small rocky beach . Away from the hustle and bustle of Kona , but close enough to all the main attractions . We loved the property and would absolutely recommend this for a stay on this side of the island !

We stayed in this unit for 11 days, and sure hated to pack up and head home to rain/snow. Overlooking the ocean,and hearing the waves roll in and out of the cove it sits above was so beautiful and relaxing. Just about every day a man showed up on his surfboard and rode the waves. We hope to stay in this lovely unit with its well equipped kitchen again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. The view was amazing & the condo is exactly as represented on this site. The AC had a hard time keeping up in the high humidity, but it was so much better than not having any! The hair dryer in the master bathroom doesn’t work, but there’s one in the other bathroom, so it was all good. The cove below the condo has amazing fish if you want to snorkel! The Kanaloa staff was great, very friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The condo is fantastic. That view from the lanai is perfecto! We loved staying here and it was the perfect size for our family of 4. The complex has 3 pools, which we used 2 of (the other was an adult only pool). They were warm and a nice change from the ocean. The cove you can see from the lanai is a 5 min walk and is good for snorkeling (for stronger swimmers). A short drive (~10 min) is the BEST cove for first time snorkelers (our kids). There is a KTA <5 min drive as well. You are also located away from the heavily touristed city, which makes visiting the smaller towns easier. We were able to get such a feel for the island this way (e.g., visiting coffee shops, groceries, art studios of locals).

My husband and I have stayed at Kanaloa at Kona complex many times and every condo was beautiful and unique. This condo had everything - good air conditioner - comfortable beds and TV's that were easy to figure out. It also was on the first floor. Nothing better than to not have to lug luggage and groceries up flights of stairs. Also, the area is very close to shopping and the Kona golf course. We saw fantastic sunsets and sunrises every day. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a nice place to relax and enjoy their time in PARADISE

The condo is surprisingly spacious; the photos are accurate. The lanai has a great view of the small bay. Though we did not do much cooking, the kitchen seemed well equipped. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We appreciated having instructions to operate the TV. The grounds were well kept and the pool areas were clean and never too busy. The designated, covered parking spot was a plus. The condo was generally quiet, though we could hear footsteps from the upper unit over the bedroom, especially in the early morning hours. Though we paid for the air conditioning, we never used it. It doesn't seem to be necessary in February, though I could see it being needed in warmer months as the breezes don't reach the bedrooms.

We loved this property. The covered deck with view of the water was heavenly and the view of the ocean and pocket beach were heavenly. The deck was a great place to be rain or shine. The location is very close to our favorite beach for snorkeling and there are stores and restaurants very closeby - as in a short walk away. The condo is at a gated resort with several swimming pools and hot tubs. The grounds are nice and there's a trail along the water. We would definitely stay here again!

Well maintained and great lanai. We stayed in late September and were glad we added the air conditioning option. Would definetly recommend.
