The view looking out to the ocean from the lanai is beautiful but the look from the lanai inside is an eyesore
Bland surroundings with outdated appliances. Looks like there is mold in the corners of rooms and the kitchen was gross and understocked
I was afraid to walk barefoot on the floors

I have stayed here three times, twice in the same unit. Sure, the unit/building is a little dated, but that doesn't bother me at all. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT! And for the price, it can't be beat in my book. If you're looking for resort-style amenities, this is not the location for you. But if you're looking for relaxation, close proximity to town, AMAZING views, and a quiet beach, this is the place! P.S. Go to the beach around 4pm and catch sight of sea turtles traveling to the adjacent cove!
This is now my son and my yearly go-to vacation spot!

The property is fine but the marketing of it is incredibly misleading. When we walked in the door, we expected to see something that kind of resembled the picture on the site and were disappointed that it was nowhere close. We were put on the second floor so while we had a lanai, you could barely see the water (in between telephone poles), and we were right on a busy street. The beach is a close 3 min walk but we thought, from the picture, that we would be on the beach. It was not a problem walking to the beach, however.
The unit itself was fine. It's dated but we knew that going in. It wasn't very clean when we arrived, however (I found an ice cream scooper under a side table), but it was easy enough to clean. You have to sweep constantly or your feet will be black from the sand that you can't help but track in. That's no biggie either. There were plenty of beach-related items and we particularly appreciated the two beach chairs, the umbrella, the cooler and the snorkeling gear.
The security guy we interacted with a couple of times was awesome! He gave some good tips for restaurants and places we could get the best poke and also provided some interesting history about the area.
Overall, we thought it was a good place for the price and it was nice to be away from some of the more touristy, busy areas south and north of us.

I wish I had a crystal ball when making this reservation, if so, I would have done something entirely different. We were supposed to be in paradise and this was anything but…. The condo was not only dated but worn and dirty. The carpet in the bedroom was so dirty the fibers were hard. The room smelled so bad with something that my eyes and sinuses burned. The couch in the living room was torn and the stuffing was coming out of the cushions. The lanai had a wonderful view of the ocean and sunsets, but the cushions on the outdoor seating were so old, dirty and torn that you needed a beach towel as a cover to use them. And that was just the big stuff, I’m sure that you get the idea. Congrats to the photographer, you did an excellent job of making this place look good. To the owner…. It’s time to gut this place. I have never spent so much on a place that was in such bad shape.

This condo is comfortable, locating in a good location and offers a great sunset view from the balcony. It is an old and dated unit, but everything works.

This place was breathtaking as soon as we walked in the door. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. My favorite part was the incredible patio with unreal ocean front views. If we have a chance to go back to Maui I hope we can stay at this condo and specifically in this unit!

I was here 21 nights. I love this location! Fifth floor with stunning views! Generally south facing you’re guaranteed beautiful sunsets every day! Plus a diamond filled night sky over sparkling water! The beach is steps away; I walked the beach every morning. 8 miles round trip to Maalaea if you’re up to it! The lanai is spacious! The entire wall facing the water is floor to ceiling windows and can be almost completely open; true indoor/ outdoor living! The unit itself has a great floor plan and is a perfect size for two adults and maybe one or two little kids, but no more! Elevator! In unit laundry! Now the hard part. The unit is dated, tired and needs work! It’s all cosmetic. It needs paint. Kitchen/ bath could be gutted, but updating will suffice!. The furniture is adequate but very, very tired. Depending on the piece; dated, tacky, in disrepair. The toilet is like 25 years old; so much waisted water. $100. and 2 hours; done. The devil is in the details. The handles on the kitchen cabinets were painted and are sticky and flaking as a result. $20. and 20 minutes; done! All the electrical sockets and switches and their covers are old, discolored and several sockets won’t hold a plug. $60. and 1.5 hours; done! All the doorknobs are trash. $50. and 1 hour; done! I feel like the unit is probably rented most of the time and the owners don’t care about return guests. Would I stay here again? Probably, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know in this condition. To say I’m conflicted is an understatement. The furniture and finishes are as horrible as the location and the unit are spectacular.

Location was great, lanai overlooking the sunset was every night was beautiful. Lots of water toys available for use. Kitchen was equipped with all the basics.
Unit is dated, cleanliness of carpet in bedroom and unit was not the cleanest. Bring house slippers or you’ll have some dirty feet at the end of the night. AC unit in bedroom is run on a 3 hour timer which requires you to reset the timer in the middle of the night.
Management company was very easy to work with when any questions arose.
