This is an excellent place to stay. The room is very nice and clean. It is also easy walking distance (right across the street) to Kamaole Beach.

It would have been nice to get more consideration for early check-in. Even having the opportunity to drop off luggage and/or groceries. While I realize these are rentals and not likely to have high quality furnishings, some minor upgrade would be nice and not terribly expensive. At a minimum, invest in a higher table and chairs for the lanai and a screen for the left side. It’s a shame to sit at that table and have the railing at eye level blocking what would be a gorgeous view.

Cockroaches in the kitchen every morning in spite of storing all food in the fridge. I suppose this is typical for the tropics and unit was tented the day after we checked out so that might help. Supplies are sparse but sufficient. I failed to add my spouse when reserving and was supplied with two bath towels and a beach towel. A call to My Perfect Stays and this was corrected. $300 in Corian, pots and pans and silverware would improve the kitchen and an area rug in the living room would also help. All in all, a good value for the price and we would stay here again.

I own a unit in the complex that was undergoing plumbing issues so i am very familiar with everything. First there were the cockroaches in the kitchen as soon as the lights were turned off. We haven't had this issue in our unit. They came out and sprayed and placed bait stations immediately but we stii had them for the next three nights. I would suggest they focus on sealing the gaps between the cabinets and walls and fill in the holes as well. This next item is a suggestion. The louvered window in the bedroom doesn't close all the way and leaks the air conditioned air out through the gaps in the louvers so much so that i think it forces the a/c unit to run a lot more than necessary. We replaced the louvers in our unit recently and it did wonders for the cooling. If you want the company's name let me know. The last item is understandable but should be addressed. The fires started 2 days before we left. The day before we left i called the property management group 3 or 4 times and left messages about what the options are if our flight is delayed or canceled. No return calls. I hope everyone is well. You might want to think of a backup return call system so all your renters aren't left in limbo. We haven't yet received a call 2 days later after we left. Again probably due to the fires but a backup plan is needed. Thank you and hope all is ok. bill

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was comfortably furnished. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful sandy beach, Kamaole III right across the street. Appreciated the well stocked beach apparatus; umbrella, nice comfy chairs, boogie board, and fins. It is great walking distance to stores and lots of restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, however a few more bowls would be good as we were always having to wash them. Hard to get use to the cockroaches, especially when opening a drawer and having them skittle across cutlery etc. as we do not have them where we live, are they a common thing in Hawaii in all homes? Would it be helpful if the garbage under the sink had a lid? Overall, we had a great time, the weather was perfect!

Nice property overlooking the pool and a stone’s throw from beach. Great view of ocean from the back deck. Condo was well equipped, BUT needed to be treated for mice and insects.

We have stayed at Hale Kamaole several times but not at this unit. We chose it because of the ocean view and the reviews. It was very clean with every we needed and the management was very helpful with a few questions we had. Very positive experience!

Loved the house, more then enough room. Location is great, unfortunately the landlord needs to replace the water heater so we were without hot water during our stay which made this very difficult. Wi-Fi and cable also went out so we had multiple people visit to Maitenence items during our trip.

Great location, directly across Kamaole beach 3, with the most amazing sunsets! Short walk to stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed all the space both inside and out. The huge green space and pool area were wonderful for the kids to play! The place came with everything that you would need for the beach & pool. They even had tennis racquets ;-)
The place inside was as pictured but, It felt dated. The sofa bed was very old and not comfortable. The King bed, on the other hand was very comfortable. The bathroom light wasn’t working when we got there but they came the next day and fixed it quickly!

The condo was great, clean with no carpets. The balcony was a bit worrisome as there were warning on the patio not to lean on the railings. A fire alarm went off for over an hour in the middle one night, we ended up having to call 911 as there was no one from the building around. We received no compensation for this inconvenience.
