The Four Paddles is a very good location. Our room had a nice view of the city and ocean. Condo staff were pleasant and the building was well maintained. Our condo was comfortable and served our needs

We have stayed at the four Paddles several times although this was our first time in this unit. There’s really nothing not to like with this condo. Well equipped for all our cooking needs. Well supplied with linens towels etc. Probably could use a few new bed pillows the ones there were like pancakes. The view and location are excellent for all our needs with quick easy walking access to everything. The unit was clean but a little more attention to a deeper clean would enhance this unit even further. Captain Cook staff were great as always ready and willing to help with whatever. Thank you.

2405 was our home away from home for 6 weeks in 2022. And it really felt like that. The unit is an open floor plan, with pull back shutters separating the bedroom from rest of unit. Keeping those open gave them unit more light & made the unit seem so much larger than it is. Ceramic tile floors thru out made clean up easy. Furniture was all current, clean & comfy. The kitchen was so greatly stocked with any & every type of dish, appliance, utensil that might be needed for food prep/storage. All appliances are full size. An issue with the dishwasher was promptly looked after by James & the owner had a new one installed right away. Great service by James. Great responsibility assumed by owner, who didn’t hesitate to get problem rectified so we could continue to enjoy our stay here. 2405 in the Four Paddle, is in a good location. Safe, secure, well maintained building, with excellent staff. Unit had great views, good patio furniture. Unit was clean upon arrival & well organized. Really enjoyed our stay here. Kudos to James, the property manager, as well as the conscientious owners, for looking after everything so well.

The picture in the ad is very deceptive. One would think there was paradise both inside and outside the apartment. However we paid full price for 62 nights FOR THE VIEW. The apartment was filthy and had not been cleaned before we arrived. The washing machine tore up the second time it was used but was fixed promptly. The 3rd day we went to open the apartment door and the mechanical suspension came off and brought the entire top of the door casing down. It was never put back up when we left 2 months later. The $.50 lights above the island were useless. Half of the lights stayed out and prevented the top cabinet door from opening. There were 5 lights under the cabinets and 3 of the 5 quit. The dishes, silverware, pots and pans were dirty and greasy. We had to wash them all before use. The bathroom was filthy and soap scum was built up on the tub walls, the faucet to the tub leaked constantly and the tub drain was rusted as well as the metal shampoo and soap holder. Underneath the hand railing it was black and moldy looking. The bed was hard as a rock and I ended up buying a queen size air mattress. The sheets were old and knotty. The couch with chaise was cheap and worn out. The manager agreed. Everything in the apartment had something wrong with it EXCEPT the view. Across the street the Ritz Carlton was expanding and Monday – Saturday work at 6:30 began and the noise was horrific. No sleeping in!!! I thought we would at least get our cleaning fee back because the apartment was definitely not cleaned upon our arrival. I picked up 2 pills off the floor by the bed the first evening we arrived. The baseboard at the head of the bed had never been cleaned and the carpet was stained in several areas. Within the first 2 weeks I had to go to the doctor because of allergies. There was dust everywhere including the AC vents and I don’t know when the carpet had been cleaned. I paid 5 star prices and got 1 star accommodations; should have stayed at Motel 6.
