1 bed, 1 bath condominium with full kitchen located in the A Building. Close to parking and the front desk and facing opposite from the Kuhio Hwy side of the building. Lush greenery surrounds the building.
Plantation Hale has 3 beautiful outdoor pools, 2 whirlpool spas, BBQ areas, shuffleboard and onsite parking. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area with the ocean and beach path only a very short walking distance away!!
This unit sleeps up to 6 guests, 1 queen and 1 double XL beds in bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper, complete with a flat screen TV in living room and a TV in the bedroom. We provide you with all the linens and towels for the condo. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to make meals! This condo also has AC, complementary Wi-Fi, and a laundry room on site!
Plantation Hale is an Old Hawaiian Style Budget Resort, a great family friendly complex, with three pools and two hot tubs available for guests! There are several outdoor BBQ areas for you to grill and relax outdoors! The front desk staff and concierge are also available for your convenience.
Plantation Hale is located less than a block from the beach and right next to the Coconut Marketplace where you can shop and find some good places to eat! This complex is just a short drive from Safeway, Foodland, Long’s Drugs, Starbucks, and more! Guests love the central location of this complex as its right between the North and South shores, making it easy to explore the island!
A favorite spot only two minutes away, is the Wailua River for kayaking, standup paddleboarding and boating to Fern Grotto and Secret Falls! You don't want to miss the Smith Family Luau and Show on Kauai!
A quick 5 minute drive takes you to Lydgate Park for lifeguarded swimming with a lagoon for small children to enjoy the ocean or for anyone to snorkel! Also a playground for kids to enjoy. Beach chairs and a cooler are provided.
Centrally located only 5 miles from the Lihue Airport. It's easy to visit both the North Shore and the Napali Coast, along with the East Coast and Waimea Canyon along with all the fun in between! Equally convenient in being next to the Coconut Marketplace for some easy shopping and dining! Only a short walk to a Safeway and a Starbucks.

Good accommodation for a short stay. Kitchen was well equipped, cleanliness ok. There were plenty of fresh towels and the beds were comfortable. However, the wifi signal left a lot to be desired.

Great location! Its very convenient that its about 10 minutes away from the airport and car rental (as we had many issues with our car and had to keep returning to the car rental place). Also, because we toured the whole island, plantation hale is about as central as you can get in kauai. And the coconut market place along with many cute shops within walking distance is an added bonus. Parking was also included and was literally steps from the front door. The decor and furniture were quite outdated, however, but it had everything we needed (including beach supplies!) There were 2 ac's that kept us nice and cool. Most importantly, our host was very quick to respond! Even gave us a call to make sure we got everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

This property is conveniently located near a market place with restaurants and a ABC store in case you do not have a vehicle.
Cabinets and drawer could use a little work, but other than that, my husband and i enjoyed our stay very much!

very old building old appliances that work new tvs with new cable system wifi seems to be ok has ac added to both rooms fairly quiet from traffic noise

We had a great stay, good support from our contact. Property a little dated, but they are working on updating. Hot tubs not working the first night, over-chemical’d the second night. We enjoyed our stay!

This unit needs some work. Placing a beautiful granite counter top on cabinets that are well over 50 years old id ridiculous. Some of the kitchen drawers are in need of repair. There are no potholders in the kitchen which make it difficult to use the oven, also, no dish towels. Severe lack of eating utensils. The counter top in the bathroom is cracked and should never have been installed in such condition. The windows in kitchen and adjoining room are filthy and in disrepair. Also, the unit has a cockroach problem.

The property was just as described in the listing. Great location, pretty central to just about anywhere on the east side of the island and not a long drive to the southern beaches. Having all the beach gear you will need was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, clean ground-floor unit next to Coconut Marketplace in Kapa’a, with easy access to grocery stores, shops, Longs Drugs, farmers market on foot. Host very responsive (fixed patio door lock issue on Sunday within a few hours). Two air conditioners kept unit easily temperature regulated, in addition to ceiling fans. Beach access within a block. I spent a week in this unit prior to 2 months along northern coast of Kauai, and wanted a week when I could unwind and manage without a car rental. The Kauai Bus service allows transfers from airport along Kuhio Highway to Kapa’a. Kapa’a along Kuhio Highway is like living in small town, but unit was not noisy and air conditioner white noise kept the limited traffic noise relatively unobtrusive.

It’s a great simple place everything one needs when understanding Kauai and spending most all the time out adventuring. Great location to grab food rest and reset for next day. We are frequent to kappa and this is a nice unit and location.
Would definitely stay again when needing a place that sleeps more than two.
