If we were to close to tourism, you would be fully credited the amount that you have paid towards a future booking and the balance would not be processed. Our family of four had a great stay! The condo was one of the most updated ones we've stayed at with modern furnishings and appliances (it was nice to have a washer and dryer that wasn't from the 80s). Our kids loved how we had access to two different pools (one that's steps away and the other "waterfall" pool a 2-minute walk away). The beach was exactly a 10 minute walk and we appreciated the provided sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers.
A few pointers for those looking:
- It's a second floor unit in case you have mobility issues.
- While the beach is a short 10 minute walk, the condo is on a small hill, so just know that you'll need to make a (very) light climb in case you have mobility issues or small kids. The paved sidewalk route also has stairs in case you have strollers.
- We had ants which is expected of island life, but just know that you'll need to keep the counters clean and take out the garbage daily. With that said the property management team was super responsive in providing us some sprays to keep them under control.
None of these things bothered us, but calling them out for awareness. Top notch location, amenities, communication, and cleanliness. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

The location was fantastic. The condo was clean and upgraded. 2 min walk to the beach. Great boogie boarding waves, surfing waves down the street. Golf course around the corner and many local shops and dinners. I took 4 graduated high school boys and they had the time of their lifes.

On Day 2 of our trip we received word from the condo association that our lanais were being painted and they would not be accessible for a few days. Worse than that, the painters would need access to the condo during the day. Three of ten days interrupted. So much for privacy. According to the condo rep the owners/property manager knew there was a potential for the interruption yet this was NOT a part of the description shared in the VRBO post. We spoke to the property manager the day we received news of what was happening. She was understanding and offered a partial refund for part of our stay. We asked for an email to confirm her offer. She agreed but said they would not process a refund until we checked out. Partly for their own protection in case we trashed the place. We thought this strange but we were satisfied with her resolution. Buyer beware - even when you are satisfied with how your owner/property manager has resolved something and even when you have TWO emails confirming their refund offer, make sure to voice your concern with VRBO because once you check out the refund offer is not a guarantee. We found that out when upon checkout no refund came. We still wait for it. I would love to have the property manager respond on here as to why it has never been refunded. He might say we were hostile guests as we hung up on him on a call when we got home and he refused payment. Most would agree if you make an offer, follow thru. There were tiny bugs all over one bathroom.

We loved the comfort and location of this condo. It was well stocked, comfortable beds, quiet private deck, assigned parking immediately outside the condo! The location is a quick drive to Wailea or even walkable-a bit of a hike but there is a path along the water (start at the boat launch, walk thru beaches and finally on to the paved path-an amazing walk!We walked to many restaurants in south Kihei-just perfect!We are planning on returning again next year!

10 nights at this condo were wonderful. My husband, our 25 year old daughter and our 18 year old son stayed here. We used to come to Maui yearly then began visiting the big island of Hawaii. Maui was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Maui Kamaole was a place we stayed previously and it is still a great location.
We ate at Duke’s in Ka’anapali and walked through the resorts there and visited Lahaina but we definitely prefer Kihei or Wailea as our home base! Very crowded in Ka’anapali.
We made notes of restaurants the we enjoyed and those that no longer live up to our expectations. These are the places we liked: Pa’ia fish market in Kihei, Ohana seafood bar, Gus’ shaved ice, Four Sisters bakery!!!, 62 Market restaurant, Cafe O Lei at the Plantation, Wow wow lemonade, Pint and Cork, Maui Brewery happy hour.
