Kona Seaflower enhanced health and safety guidelines
With COVID 19, cleanliness is more important than ever. The following information is a summary of our cleaning and sanitation procedures between guest stays.
There is at minimum a 48-hour interval between guests. This effectively acts as a “booking buffer” to block out a space of time after a rental is used to allow time for airborne particles to settle.
For convenience and to minimize person-to-person contact, our condominium is equipped with a lockbox at the entrance door, letting your self-check-in and out.
A shoe rack at the front door is provided and guests are encouraged to leave them when entering condominium.
For our guests and staff, hand sanitizer and antibacterial soap products are provided at key points such as entrance, bathrooms, and kitchen.
Before every guest stays:
• To maximize ventilation and air out the home, our housekeeping staff will open windows while cleaning.
• High touch areas such as door handles, controls and switches, television remotes, fan pull chains, bathroom/kitchen faucets, toilet flush handles, and toilet seats are sanitized in preparation for your stay.
• Hardwood floors are mopped.
• Bathroom tiled floors are cleaned.
• Area rugs in the living room and bedrooms are thoroughly vacuumed.
• Sheets are freshly laundered at high temperatures and placed on beds.
• Towels are also laundered at high temperatures are placed in bathrooms and kitchen.
• All dishes and utensils are cleaned and the dishwasher is left empty.
• Refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker are cleaned.
• Lanai table and chairs are wiped down.
• Showers, bathtubs, and toilets are thoroughly cleaned.
• All trash cans are emptied and provided with a fresh liner.
• Safety equipment (fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and first aid kit) is available for guest protection.
• Housekeeping equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after use.
• Finally, guests can simply arrive and relax, since we provide starter amenities like hair and body care products, cleaning supplies, and additional stock of basic household items like paper towels, toilet paper, a new sponge, dishwashing soap, and laundry detergent.

This place is perfect. The owners were easy to communicate with if there were any concerns. The location was awesome easy access to everything in downtown Kona.
People with mobility issues please understand it’s on the third floor with no elevator People for long stays it has 34 stairs so carrying groceries (water beer😂) takes a little out of you
We had absolutely had no complaints it was exactly what we wanted. The place is clean and we slept in both beds. They were both amazing. The 3 air conditioners are awesome.
You get the morning sun on the deck even with the shades pulled down it’s really warm. The table and chairs on the deck are beautiful teak but not comfortable for short or people with mobility problems (they are like bar height table and chairs)

This Kona condo is very comfortable. Its location is only a block or two away from Ali'i Drive (shopping) and a small in-town beach. Only about 15 minutes from the airport. Neighbors are quiet, although there seems to be a rash of loud cars and motorcycles that can be heard when the windows are open. Water pressure in the shower is great and the owner promptly helped with one small problem we had when we arrived. A very nice place!

This condo was a solid choice for our family's stay in Kona! Our itinerary had us exploring the island for various adventures and the condo was a great home base. Spacious, well-stocked, thoughtful Hawaiian décor, and a short walk into town. Our daughters also really enjoyed playing in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a great experience with the hosts for this property. They had excellent communication and were very helpful. The condo was overal updated and comfortable. Only complaints would be the beds/mattresses could be updated.

This condo was fine for our stay but certainly wasn’t luxury. You have to drag your luggage up 4 flights of stairs and we saw a few lizards within the condo. My main complaint is that the towels provided all reeked of mildew. I understand it’s hard to keep things dry in such a humid climate but the towels and upstairs bathroom all smelt horrible.

We had a great stay here. This property gave us what we needed: location (both close to amenities and good driving proximity to lots of beaches/attractions), space, and lots of extras (beach umbrella/chairs, snorkel gear, boogey boards). It is not a luxury rental, but comfortable and functional, and we would (and hope to) stay here again!

We were delighted to stay in this exceptionally clean, modern, well appointed two-bedroom condo conveniently located in Kona town (about a 10 minute walk from the Marriott). The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and the bathrooms were stocked with abundant towels. In addition to a full kitchen with all the appliances, cooking and serving items one needs, there were abundant beach items (including boogie boards, snorkle sets beach chairs, mats and umbrellas) and items for a baby (a play pen, high chair, stroller (we only used the former)). The condo is far enough off the highway, and sufficiently treed, that it is quite quiet. We loved spending time at the pool and using the BBQ to prepare our main meals. Dealing with Larry and Joy was a breeze. And Alan, the property manager on the ground, was very accommodating. Prospective tenants need to be aware that the condo is on the third floor and there are no elevators. That was not a concern for us, but it could be for those with mobility issues. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend this property.
