I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic VRBO property in the breathtaking island of Kauai, and I'm delighted to share my positive experience. From start to finish, my stay at this rental was nothing short of excellent, offering a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and cleanliness.
The property itself was a true gem. Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, it provided a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The VRBO was well-maintained and boasted an impeccable level of cleanliness, which was particularly important to me. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a space that not only looked pristine but also smelled fresh and inviting.
The interior of the VRBO was thoughtfully designed with a charming blend of modern amenities and island-inspired decor. We had booked this home to stay at while working on a construction project in the area. The house was great for the 3 of us, as it had plenty of room, it was serene, it backed up to a frisbee golf course and it was just peaceful. The neighborhood was pleasant and it was just a great overall stay.
The garage had snorkeling gear, chair/umbrellas for the beach, 3 ice chests, golf clubs, 2 bikes and just about anything else you could need.
The ice maker in the fridge was on point, as we made lunch for the 3 of us everyday and there was always plenty of ice every morning.
I read earlier reviews about stained flooring in the house, but that has all been replaced and is not saltillo tile.
The only issue we had was the check in. The code didn't work and it took about 30 mins to get a hold of someone and they gave use the code for a secondary lockbox and key that worked. Other than that, we had no complaints.
I'd book this home again in a second!

This property is very welcoming and pleasant. It was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies bath towels and linens.
We had a couple minor issues but they were taken care of quickly.
1st was that we had not received the entry code prior to arrival. When I called, the agent supplied us with the code and we were inside within minutes.
2nd The coffee pot did not work but i emailed them and had a brand new coffeemaker within a couple hours.
The only recommendation i would like to make is replace the futon mattress in the loft as it is not very comfortable
We were very pleased with this property and the management. We will recommend it to friends

The screen door doesn't work and would not shut. Someone came to fix it and just threw it along the house. The carpet was full of stain and filthy. The cushions for the couch and the chairs were for lawn furniture and the were uncomfortable. The bedroom blinds were missing and torn off. The toilet didn't flush. The original place we rented had a pool and this was a replacement and didn't have a pool. This was our 19 trip and by far the worst experience with renting that we have ever had.

The location of this property is great. It is a comfortable size and layout for 3 couples. The property managers never meet you at the house to review the quirks of the property or tell you which one of the 6 remotes you need to use the television. The property is in sore need of an update. White berber carpeting with lots of stains, beds are OK but master mattress needs replacement. No door on master bathroom. Shoji door on master BR. Mold on bathroom ceilings, front screen door is falling off its hinges and rusty. Hides the well worn wooden door. On the golf course so expect to hear lawn maintenance. Light switches are weird. The bathroom switch in the master actually turns on the ceiling fan in the bedroom. Kitchen switch in the hallway. Some outlets were not working at all. BBQ had no propane so we filled it up. Manager would not reimburse us without a receipt but we felt this should be checked before guests arrived. In the middle of the week property manager texted us in the am and told us our refrigerator would be replaced and we should leave the key for the delivery. Wasn't happy about strangers in the house while we were not home or having them touch our food to transfer from the old refrigerator (which worked fine) to the new one. Asked them to give us ice since you aren't supposed to use new ice from the ice maker. They never replied. No recyle bin. We asked but no reply. We ended up taking stuff to the refuse station. Lovely neighborhood but the poor house was really old and tired and the managers are on the mainland and ot really into providing a better experience I suppose.
