A house that epitomizes Hawaiian outdoor living: Great Ocean Views, large lanai area covering two sides of the house, private pool and yard, in a quiet gated community close to downtown Kailua Kona. This comfortable and well-appointed 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is located within Kahakai Estates, a gated community, at the end of cul-de- sac that provides privacy while being convenient to all that Kailua-Kona has to offer.
The 3600 square feet of living space is made up of a main floor living area that has two distinct areas with direct access to the pool. You can have privacy in the reading/lounge area or share with others in the TV great room area which is open to the gourmet, well-stocked kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is great for entertaining with granite countertops, 6-burner gas stove, stainless steel appliances and is stocked with All Clad stainless steel cookware. There is access from the kitchen and dining areas to the back yard that is great for sunning and the outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, sink and refrigerator. There is a main floor junior -primary suite with a king bed and a full bed (great for parent's with young children) with a spacious closet and full bath.
There is a Primary Suite on the upper floor, with a king bed, walk-in closet, soaking tub, separate shower, with access to a large lanai boasting great ocean views. There are two bedrooms, with a “jack and jill” bathroom with dual sinks. The 2nd bedroom has a King Bed and the 3rd bedroom has Two Double Beds. These rooms also have access to the large upper, covered lanai with a wet bar, the perfect place to enjoy a famous Hawaiian sunset.
Throughout the home you will be surrounded by luxury, comfort and technology. The home was professionally furnished, stocked and designed to enhance the experience for every guest. The floors are hardwood throughout the living area's while the bedrooms enjoy the comfort of carpet. There are ceiling fans in every room and along the outdoor area, there is a 2-zone air conditioning system that is available, Wireless Internet, a new 55” LED television in the Family Room and master bedroom and 40” LED Televisions in all other bedrooms, equipped with satellite TV, with DVR's plus Netflix, Hulu, etc.
This property is located in a private community that requires quiet time from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. If you are planning a luau, large gathering or party – please do not inquire on this property.
Minimum night varies seasonally. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets allowed. Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. They do not record any conversation, but they do alert us if the noise levels exceed the residential limits in the area.

We absolutely loved this house. The views were spectacular, and we loved taking morning walks through the neighborhood. This house is close to all the best dining options in the Kona area. I would stay here again.

We had a group of 7 spanning 3 generations. So many fantastic living areas inside and out so no one was tripping over each other. Very peaceful area with beautiful flowers/trees all around and nice ocean view. Had an issue with the upstairs AC and they someone there within 3 hrs of calling to fix it. Can’t get that kind of service at home! Nice welcome gift was waiting and we had everything we needed. If we ever went back to Kona we’d stay here. As it was, my mother-in-law loved the house so much she was more upset about leaving it than the island itself!

Our group of 8 people loved the house. The rooms were all very comfortable with lots of areas to get together or find a place to have a quiet moment. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our concierge, David, was a big extra bonus. He was extremely helpful in planning our outings so we enjoyed all the Island had to offer.

Wow it was awesome! Our family have been visiting the Kona side on the Big island of Hawaii for at least 20 years and this was by far the best due most in part because the home we rented through VRBO. The house was amazing! The kids are still thanking me for finding the home and they want to go back to the same house next time.
