Upon your arrival you will know that you are 'Somewhere Special'. A 40 foot wall of glass paneled mahogany doors lead out into your very own private tropical garden with a lava rock sunken spa and pond with a walkway that winds you through a rainbow of colored tropical flowers and palms. The lushly landscaped grounds include orchids, tropical plants, banana and palm trees which greet you swaying in the gentle breezes.
When you finally make your way back indoors you will find it tastefully appointed in an Modern design reflecting style and grace with tile flooring and a open Hawaiian style, spacious floor plan. A custom gourmet kitchen with an island and granite counter tops over Sapele cabinets and breakfast bar seating for six persons. The dining area has seating for up to 10 persons at a formal but relaxed setting.
Poipu Villa Vista is set up on two levels which offers privacy to families traveling together and is ideal for family reunions. The first level is an Ohana, which has a separate entrance through French doors. My family and I have been traveling to Kauai a few times a year for 28 years. My parents live across the street from Wendy and Nick’s home and we’ve stayed in many rental homes in Poipu. This home is our favorite!

The property was perfect for our 9-person blended family - with its luxurious living environment, electronics, daily supplies, linens, hot tub, cooking/eating utensils, beach chairs, wagon, towels, and above all its proximity to beach and ocean views, all of which were over and above expectations. Wendy, the property owner, was helpful and informational, especially in advance of our arrival as we sought to make reservations for activities and limited dinner's out. It lent for a memorable vacation for all, exactly what we wanted for our children, grandchildren, and us as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Thank you.

We had a fantastic time in Kauai and this house was perfect for us! We had 3 young families with children ranging from just under 2 to 7 years old and this house had everything we would need. We loved having all of the things we needed to take to the beach including chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, body boards, puddle jumpers and a wago to tote it all. The deck was so nice to sit out on and had beautiful views. This is a prime location with easy access to many great places in Kauai. Would love to come back some day!

This was a spectacular home in an ideal location. We walked to the pool and beaches daily and found everything we needed in the home. It was ideal for myself, my children and 6 grandchildren--ages 1-13. I highly recommend staying here and working with Wendy--she was most helpful and responsive.

It was such a treat to vacation in this gorgeous, luxurious, peaceful, and spacious home with our extended family! The house had everything that you could have asked for. The views were amazing. Wonderful beaches and a great community pool/spa were within a 10 minute walk. The property manager was super nice and very accommodating. Minor issues were quickly addressed. Highly recommend this home!

We just completed a week's stay on Kauai. The location was ideal for many of the activities that Kauai has to offer. Stacy & Lauren were both responsive to any questions or needs that we had. We will most certainly stay here again in the future.

The house was absolutely perfect for our two families of 10! We loved the openess and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The driveway is definitely a climb, but as long as you approached and left at an angle it wasn't too bad. It was a great week!!

I can’t say enough about what an Amazing property this is. Wendy was a wonderful host providing us with “island favorites” for food and exploring before checking in. The home home was very spacious, comfortable, and beautiful! It was everything we hoped for! We were furnished with all the necessities we could ask for from kitchen appliances, to beach towels and beach equipment. Everything was included. The location was also perfect. This was truly an amazing property and we hope to return again some day!

Absolutely incredible home, even more spectacular than the pictures. We appreciated all of the thoughtful details in addition to the big-ticket features. The kitchen is loaded with everything we needed including super helpful extras like Tupperware, pantry items, and welcome beer and wine. So nice!
The house is simply fantastic. It was great to have a separate unit downstairs for our large family gathering. So many different nooks and crannies for morning coffee and cocktail hour. The kids loved exploring and taking over the downstairs when the adults got too adultish.
Wendy is such a generous host. Instant replies to any needs we had. Her on-island manager was also extra special. They were so kind to accommodate our needs.
I just can’t say enough good things about our experience. It was the perfect location for a splurge vacation celebrating my mom’s 80th. We hope to be back soon!

The Poipu Vista Villa is a large family oriented home with plenty of room to accommodate our family of 11. It is perfectly located in the Poipu Kai Resort area, close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Sand toys for the kids were provided along with a crib and stroller. We had a wonderful vacation. Our Ohana by blood and blessing (ages 2 months to 62 yrs) spent an unforgettable week in this exquisite and beautiful home in Koloa. Thoughtful touches, such as beach items, paper supplies, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and pantry dry goods, made our transition to vacation seamless. Wendy was prompt in responding to our needs. The location can’t be beat! Though beautiful, after staying in the North Shore on our previous visit, we will only return to Poipu — and hopefully this amazing home.
