This house is absolutely incredible. If you want to see Hawaii, you will love it. If you want to stay and enjoy the breeze, the views of the golf course and the sunset, or visit the nearby beaches, it all right here. Beautiful indoors to relax and enjoy the island. The sponsor has provided so much more of the amenities than I expected to meet my requirements which includes items for our 2 year old grand daughter. The kitchen is unbelievable. It was easy fit in as a family and share responsibility for dinners which brought us together on the evenings we cooked dinner in instead of going out. Thank you Shannon for sharing your wonderful home with us. The only disappointing part of the trip was leaving.

We Loved this home! We could not have asked for a more lovely or comfortable home for our family of 8 for an 8 night stay.
This home is so spacious and comfortable. All the bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, including the blow up toddler bed, and the pack and play, for our two littles to sleep comfortably.
We all marveled at how well stocked the kitchen is. We had a 5 yo and 2 1/2 yo with us so we ate most dinners in, and were so appreciative of all the dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, and the myriad of spices, vinegars and oils. It is also convenient that one of the 2 bbq grills was right off the kitchen, on one of the 2 lovely patios. We also loved the big round table and comfortable dining chairs for meals.
There were beautiful views from both of the upper patios. It was fun having ping pong with lots of paddles and balls, and there are lots of beach toys and some noodles that we used. There were also 2 bikes.
We loved having a pool at the house, and also recommend signing up for access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna resorts for access to their beaches, pools, and other amenities. Their complimentary valet parking was extremely convenient with the 2 little ones.
Both Shannon and Lissette were very responsive to any questions we had both prior to our arrival and while we were there. Thank you both for ensuring a lovely lovely stay.
If we come back to the Big Island with our family, we would come back to this home in a heartbeat.

While planning our 2024 family vacation, we chose The White House by the Sea after seeing all the high rated reviews and it did not disappoint. The home is in a wonderful location with great views of the ocean and mountains as well as a golf course, which was under renovation during our stay but still a great view. Shannon and Lissette were on top of our decision from start to finish making sure everything was covered and what we needed. The home is very comfortable, spacious and perfect for our family. We were provided with information of what to do prior to our arrival which made day planning easier. Lissette contacted us on the day we arrived letting us know the home was open and ready for us and it was so check in and out was a breeze. Thank you Shannon and Lissette for helping us make our Big Island vacation a success. We hope to return in the future and will definitely look for this property.

My nephew was getting married at the Mauna Kea Autograph hotel (3/9/24). Our entire family made the trip to Hawaii to attend this wonderful event. Rather than stay at the hotel (getting four rooms for each of six nights), we decided to rent this fabulous house, which was just 0.7 miles down the road from the hotel. All six adults and two young children had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the amenities of this amazing property.
The gourmet kitchen, along with all the finest appliances and fully stocked cooking/dish ware, etc., made family breakfasts a major event each morning. We then spent the days at the beach, when we weren’t using the pool or living areas of the house. Every room had a large TV, with streaming services already available (ie. Spectrum, Disney+ and Netflix). This made accommodating the grand children a breeze, while the adults enjoyed the amazing sunsets on one of the two large outdoor decks.
We were a bit late checking in (7:30 pm), but Lissette made sure everything was ready for our arrival after an exhausting fourteen hour door-to-door travel day. Spotless, welcoming and efficient! We definitely made the right decision to stay here versus the hotel, and would love to come back again some day.

We were wowed the moment we pulled up and when we entered this beautiful home it did not disapoint! Everything was perfect! The attention to detail was so appreciated. It truly felt like home. We loved the beautiful views! The indoor and outdoor spaces gave us so many choices to gather and enjoy family time. A favorite memory was looking at the stars and the whales with the telescope!
From a pracital standpoint, this was the most well equipped kitchen ever! It was a pleasure to cook/grill together as a family! We made some amazing family memories in this beautiful home! Also, we were delighted to be able to enjoy being a part of Mauna Kea Beach Resort!

This house was truly very nice. Spacious, in great shape, nicely furnished, unusually well supplied. It was inside the Mauna Kea resort area which is very nice. The house was every bit as nice as the pictures make it look; or really nicer. Ocean views from the master and two different decks, its own pool with a separate pool house suite. A nice airy feel to the main house. Communication with the owner and the property manager was excellent. They were very responsive and accommodating. All in all, this was an excellent vacation rental experience.

It was our second time staying at this property and we loved it as much as the first! Very clean, great location and super responsive property manager. Nothing but great things to say about this house. The biggest issue is finding a time that isn't already booked!
