Good location for our needs. Lower rating was because this unit is on the ground floor with the pool just across from the parking lot. Noise in the late evening due to pool activity mostly, although it closes at 9 pm. Still could hear voices from other apartments later than that, so I would rather be on the top floor personally.

Place is "dated" but located in a nice area. Our electricity turned off in the unit on our 2nd day and we needed to reset the wifi, but we were out of the unit when customer service hours were open so we never got to reset it. There's no AC, but it was cool in the evenings. There was a washer and dryer, detergent was provided. There was an airbed provided for the 5th person to sleep on, but was constantly deflating. There were 2 bathrooms which was the main draw for me. Communication before, during and after the stay was good. When calling customer service, they were responsive and called back if they missed a call.

We loved this adorable condo! The view from the lanai was amazing with beautiful foliage and the mountains in the background on one side, and the ocean on the other. The condo is a little outdated but that is what added to its charm and made it feel authentic. Finding in the dark was a challenge. The unit was very clean with lots of towels. One dining room chair was badly cracked and unsafe. Peeling wall paper very noticeable in kitchen The bath tub was slippery, the strips on the tub were worn off. The front of the cabinet in kitchen was splintered in bad shape. Dining room light was out. no light out side front door and it was really needed. Sparse kitchen wear no plastic glasses etc. stove and oven worked but looked bad. Couldn't get Tv to work. Cd's were all empty. No paper or pens or paper available. The wall mounted mirrors in bathroom and dining area are corroded underneath. The bed was very comfortable. We would not rent this unit again. I wish I had been aware of it's flaws. The pictures didn't show any of it. It's a shame it's like this. It's beyond me why an owner wouldn't care for this unit better. fixing what was wrong would last a long time and give visitors an experience they expected. We still had a great time outside of the condo. See the pretty table picture? No table cloth,plastic glasses,candles monkey or candles. You need plastic glasses in the pool area. The view was nice

The repairs were DIY at best, furniture was beat up, lightbulbs missing and the place needs a deep clean and general attention. Good things: the management company was well-organized, communicative, and responsive; the place was clean, and the location beautiful: a really nice view from the lanai of a wooded little valley and the ocean. Less great things: the condo is old and has seen better days, the ceiling is thin so you get to know your upstairs neighbors a lot better than you probably want, the condo is positioned so that the sun makes half the place really hot in afternoons, the lanai is tiny and has no vegetation for privacy and is unusable from the early afternoon on because of the angle of the sun.
This is the fourth VRBO place that I've stayed in Princeville, and by far the poorest value for money in terms of size and comfort. It was OK, but I won't be coming back.

The pool and bbq area were very convenient and clean. The rental unit was very clean but needed an update, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Past rentals I have experienced in the same area over the past 6 years were updated which made the visit more enjoyable. The photo's on the VRBO website were a bit misleading.

The unit was very clean. The pool and bbq area were also close and clean. The unit needed and update especially the kitchen and bathrooms. I have rented similiar 2bd room units in Kauai over the past 6 years and each unit was in much better shape, This unit was stuck in the 1980's. The furniture and cabinets were a bit shabby and the photo's on the web site misrepresented the actual unit.
