This OCEANFRONT complex,adjacent to the Kona Country Club, which has two 18 hole golf courses, sits on 17 prime acres with coconut palms,lush tropical landsacpaes and a grass volley-ball court.
We are 5 miles south of Kailua/Kona, 25 miles south of the Kona International Airport and are an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, a multiplex movie theater, and Kahaluu Beach, probably the best snorkling beach on the island!
The Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a private, gated, garden-style community. There are three lighted profesional tennis courts (there are no charges for the use of the courts), a large pool with adjacent pavilion, and a second pavilion near our unit with gas and charcoal barbecues and picnic tables.
Our two-story unit is on the third (top) floor. Our lanai is 40 feet from the ocean. You will enjoy the beautiful sunsets, whales, dolphins, fishing boats, and kayakers. Our view extends from the golf course for five miles to Kailua Kona.
Our condo has high vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans in all rooms a fan and shades on the lanai. It was completely renovated and upgraded. We have new kitchen counters, stove, sinks, and showers. The master bedroom has a king-size bed that looks out at the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed.The third bedroom has twin beds.
Features of this condo include: phones, cable TV, DVD/VCR, stereo/CD, built-in microwave, washer and dryer, electric coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, fully-supplied kitchen utensils, and linens. We have an unlimited high seed (wireless) CABLE INTERNET MODEM for your laptop computer to give you more time after surfing the web to enjoy Kona. Our second and third bedrooms have TVs as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this wonderful condo. Everything we needed was supplied. The sunset were incredible. The location of the condo was so convenient to shopping, bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this condo.

This place could be a real gem. Unfortunately, it needs a little TLC and the lack of Air Conditioning is a killer. The temps were in the mid 80's with little to no breeze. The Master was OK, but the guest bedroom and the loft were very uncomfortable. If you want to sleep in, in those rooms, forget it. With the windows open the traffic noise and the birds will undoubtedly wake you at 6:00 am. So we had to hit the sack by 9:30 to get sleep but it was still way too warm at that time.
Yes, the views on the Lanai are great and the square footage is very nice, but there is way more to a week's stay than those two things. I was expecting better for the price we paid.

This condo was exactly as described. It was clean. The view of the sunset every night, cocktail in hand, was a high point. Listening to the ocean breaking against the rocks soothed some of our party.
Location is good for snorkelling with a number of good snorkelling beaches nearby, and only half an hour to the famous "2-step" beach.
We enjoyed hanging out in the pool, and our 3-year-old enjoyed floating there too.
Kailua-kona has plenty of places to eat. And there's the coffee shack on the way back from 2-step. There's a shopping area just up the road.
There was more than enough living space for our party of 5.
If we were coming back, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Our party of 7 (6 adults and 1 adolescent) stayed in this unit for the week of 18-25 Aug 2024. Our unanimous opinion is that we will not return.
Lacked adequate ventilation. Don't even think about staying here in August (and probably not July and September, too). No breeze from 2 PM to almost 2 AM. Air flow through the unit was ok in the master BR if the door was left open, and ok in the living room. But the 2nd BR downstairs and the 3rd BR in the loft (tiny twin beds) were uncomfortably warm all night. The fans were filthy!! and did not help much.
Lacked adequate cleanliness. Yes, the floors were clean, but all the bed linen and towels had a musty smell. The gasket on the washing machine was covered in rotting mildew that required 3 cleanings with a strong cleaner before we could run a load of laundry through it.
Lots of utensils required a thorough cleaning so we washed all silverware, glasses, cups, saucers, and plates before using any of them. The oven needed to be cleaned, and we left it the way we found it.
This unit has a good location and great view, but needs maintenance, replacement of worn out items, and a thorough cleaning of just about everything.

I loved this property with the ocean right off the back of the balcony. I enjoyed laying in bed listening to the waves. It was a short drive to stores, outdoor market and some of the sites we wanted to visit. I will stay here if it’s available on future visits.

Had a fun stay. Incredible view and ocean sounds and view from deck. Only thing that could improve stay would be some AC. Was a little warm at times even with the nice ocean breeze.

When we arrived, we took off our shoes and walked around the unit. We were appalled to see that the bottoms of our feet were black with dirt from the floor tile. The place definitely needs some TLC. The fans were filthy and the furniture dirty. The view from the lanai was wonderful.

The condo is really well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The view from the balcony is exceptional. We loved having the use of the boogie boards for nearby Magic Sands.

Roomy three bedroom apartment right on the water. Breeze off the ocean kept the condo a very comfortable temperature. Condo complex amenities (pool, tennis, pickleball, outdoor seating) was easily accessed and uncrowded. There is a good selection if restaurants and shops within two miles. The night swim with the manta rays was a short five minute drive. A must do. Everyone( three retired couples) really enjoyed our stay.

We traveled to Kona with 2 friends this trip and stayed at the listing. I was thrilled with the accuracy of the photos and views! The condo was beautifully furnished, there were ample towels and linens. The kitchen had every appliance and implement you would need if you wanted to cook for the week, not that we did. There were boogie boards, beach towels, and lots of other things we did not need.
The views from the lanai are incredible. We sat on the balcony every available moment. The main bedroom opens onto the balcony/lanai and you hear the surf all night long.
The unit was clean and the directions for trash, recycling were very accurate. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge with icemaker and filtered water, hair dryers in each bathroom along with basic shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap. Some spices and condiments.
Any communication with the owners was very quick. We had no issues during the stay and absolutely plan to return. The location was convenient to everything. Shopping is available at the top of the hill, along with 2 wonderful restaurants Tropics and Sunset View (I think).

We had a delightful stay at this gorgeous unit. The view and sunsets on the lanai were unparalleled. It was wonderful to have 3 separate bedrooms with the 3 baths for the 6 of us and we never felt crowded.

We picked this condo to be able to sit on the lanai and see and hear the ocean & it is amazing! We also needed a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit which is very hard to find that close to the ocean. Loved having a reserved parking spot right next to our unit. There were a couple minor maintenance issues ( closet door off track, curtain pulley needing repair) When we notified the host, they said they would be fixed after we left as we requested that. We would definitely stay here again because we love being so close to the ocean and spent lots of time on the lanai enjoying the view.
