We traveled to your resort last week with some good friends, we booked adjacent ground floor rooms in March of 2022 in order to have ocean front near each other. 1 week prior to our arrival our friends received a call from Castle Resorts that their room was no longer available for them (is this legal?) and they would be moved, the room that was available to them was the furthest building from the ocean with a slight view of the nearby golf course on the 2nd floor. Our friend uses a cane to walk due to knee issues and has a difficult time walking up & down stairs. Our friends moved into 3-different units during their stay at your resort last week which would be unacceptable to anyone vacationing. Furthermore, this was the 3rd time my wife & I have stayed in room 3102. We arrived at 5:20pm and were checked in by the gate security guard who informed us if we wanted air conditioning it would be an additional $31.00 daily to use. Reasonable travelers would think air conditioning would be included with any room stay. After reading our booking information again, the charge was noted. We travel quite often this is the 1st time we have encountered this.
The personal touch that Kanaloa at Kona had in our past visits was gone, there were no longer beach chairs or boogie boards for use at our room. The room towels were old & worn out, the kitchen amenities no longer had the owner’s touch. We will no longer visit this resort due to the change in management by Castle Resorts.

Excellent location on the property. This unit is situated ocean front and near all three pools and the office. The only drawback to this unit is that there was only one towel and one cloth per person. Also, only three thin beach towels to share. Other condos were fully stocked with towels. There was also only one dish towel. Overall, great place but a few extra towels would be great!

Rental experience was good. Office and security were very efficient for check in and responsive to our needs. Beautiful area and very convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Great location! I enjoyed the sunset view every evening.
The host and the property management team at the site was very quick to response. When I asked about the annoying and loud neighbor after quiet time, they quickly resolved the issues. Overall experience was excellent. I would like to visit this place gain.

Lovely view, area
Carpets not clean and stained upon arrival. Office notified. Many lights not working, light bulbs out. Maintenance notified. Counters needed to be wiped down. Would have been nice to have some very basic cleaning supplies.
No instructions left as to check out. We are used to basic instructions and some minimal cleaning supplies from our previous rentals.
Furniture and beds were comfortable and we loved the deck and view.
