Tragically outdated Decor and Furniture (This also includes Creepy personal framed photos on the walls and also awful light fixtures, window coverings etc).2. Grody Carpeting in the Bedroom (Also, closet is crammed with personal storage, the mattress is awful and the funiture very sad.3. Kitchen had everything needed and bathroom was sufficient, but both could use some minor updating.

We have stayed in this complex before, but first time in 402. The management company is top notch, from the welcome basket to communication, all nice touches. The unit itself is a little outdated, but everything worked and it had everything we needed. Access is via an electronic key pad on the door and it has a keyed security door. The view is better from the 4th floor. The location of this plaza is perfect, which is the best part of staying here. The parking garage is under construction, but we never had an issue finding a parking spot. The parking garage is only accessible via the elevator which requires a key to get to that level. We spent a LOT of time on the patio because the view was amazing. Bed was very comfy. Central location. We were able to walk to most restaurants and bars. Parking was great.
Only thing is we were told NOT to use the concierge for anything but "reservations". When we went to other hotels we were able to use the concierge for questions and suggestions for local things to do so we asked the people at the restaurants or other visitors for info about the area. Kind of disappointed in the limitations for using concierge.
We had to save over a year to be able to go to Hawaii so we really can't thank you enough for making our vacation special.

Amazing view super comfortable bed. Highly recommend this room we stayed here on our honeymoon and it was awesome. Beaches are difficult to get to with no car but restaurants and shopping us at your fingertips.

We loved this property and its location. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed ourselves very much. The management company was very professional and responsive when needed. The only draw back is that the pictures advertising this apartment are long out of date. The changes in the apartment are minimal and can be understood however the degraded tarps on the businesses across the street are quite the eye sore. This is no fault of the owner of this apartment rental property but surely takes away from their lovely view from the balcony.

The condo was better than the building it was in. It was close to the main street with all the restaurants and gift shops however, it’s still required climbing stairs to get up to the first floor in order to take the elevator. The elevator to the basement has a fire door that you cannot come back in. This was an issue because my spouse cannot climb stairs . You can take the elevator to the garage in the basement and go out the fire door right onto the main street, but you can’t come back in that way. In addition, the ocean view was there, but only by looking over the top of some really dilapidated roofs. Overall, the condo was acceptable at the price charged, and the inside of the condo was well maintained

Great location. Pictures are accurate. Close to all the amenities in Kona. Staying here, you do not need a car unless you are going to tour around the island. Grocery stores (2 on Palani), Walmart (straight up Henry Street), and local shopping are all within a mile of the condo. There is an ABC Store directly across the street if needed that is open 7:30 am to 10:00 pm 7 days a week. Beaches are close (Kailua Pier being one of them) or several along Ali'i Drive or the old Kona Airport that is 1.5 miles away from the condo. There is an E-bike rental shop on the main floor of the building and a brand new coffee shop that has 15% discount for those who staying in Kona Plaza (great coffee and treats). Bike rental shop was amazing. Farmers Market is a 3 minute walk away for all your fresh fruit and veggies. We had no issues with the property. Property manager was amazing and has options available for mail and parcel pick up, which was greatly appreciated! We would stay here again.

The location of this complex makes walking to restaurants and shops very convenient. Alii Dr is a busy street, but downtown Kona gets quiet around 8pm. The size of the balcony is great, and if you look over the shopping center roof that is need of repair, you have a nice view of the ocean. This is an older unit, but does have all the necessary kitchen appliances, as well as a washer and dryer. We appreciated the beach chairs that were in the closet, and the paperbacks for reading.

Good experience, nice unit, well located. Management company has it together. Only issue was construction in the basement made parking tough, had to park on the street 2 times. Clean unit, upgrades from last time we stayed there. Would recommend staying there, we will rebook for next year. Check on parking garage construction and impacts. Great view from the balcony.
