This an open and airy 2000 square foot floor plan, relaxing tropical décor, and large glass doors that open to upper and lower lanais cater to the fantastic indoor-outdoor lifestyle of the Hawaiian Islands. The upper-level features two primary suites and a washer and dryer. The first suite has a king bed, TV, and large master bath with a double shower. It also has its own lanai - a perfect spot for watching local surfers catch the waves at Magic Sands as you sip your morning coffee or for enjoying the refreshing evening ocean air while you marvel at the expansive night sky. This home has added comfort and is air-conditioned.
The second suite features a queen size bed, TV, and private bath as well as a small louvered window facing the ocean that provides gentle sea breezes and the sound of soothing crashing waves as you wind down for the night.
On the main level, a great room with vaulted ceilings, glass wall doors, and ample comfy seating beckons you in to sit back and relax while you relive the day's adventures, watch TV, or take in the beautiful ocean views. A den adjoins the great room features a sliding room divider that provides the flexibility for the space to be used as a private bedroom or as an additional relaxation area. This room has 2 extra-long twins that can be converted to a king for an extra fee, extra seating, and a desk (just in case the office calls.)
A centrally located full bath on the main level completes the downstairs bedroom and makes the home ideal for 6 adult guests. Also on the main level of the home is a full kitchen, stocked with plenty of cookware and serving supplies and a sizeable indoor dining area makes staying in for meals easy.
In the evenings a small wet bar area off the great room along with a propane BBQ and a table for 6 on the lanai present the perfect invitation to enjoy dining at home while the ocean provides the background music, and the sun sets on your day. Your stay at Kona Onenalo One also includes wifi; just what you need for sending photos of all your Hawaiian adventures to friends and family back home.

Next to Magic Sands Beach and a short drive away from Kailua Town, it is a perfect Big Island vacation combination. Overall:
5 star experience. The property was very nice, clean, with amazing views. The sunsets were priceless. The complex itself was quiet, with very low people traffic. After speaking to a couple other families, it sounded like only a handful of the units are rentals. The pool area was typically empty.

The property management company was the best I've ever dealt with.
Location:
This is the only rating I gave less than 5 stars (4 stars). I'd call it a good location, not great. I found myself driving quite a bit. If you do a Luau or dinner reservations at one of the top resorts, you're 40 min away. You're also 1.5 hrs from Hilo, and 2 hrs from Volcanoes National Park. I guess it really depends on what activities you're looking to do.

Beautiful beach house. Well-equipped, comfortable. Some noise from the busy street, but the sound of the ocean made up for it! The location is good - a short trip into Kona Town, but far enough to make this a peaceful spot.

Lovely home with a beautiful Ocean view.
Clean and nicely appointed home with all the basics that you’ll need for a comfortable vacation stay.
We enjoyed that the home is located a short distance from Kailua Kona shops, restaurants, and a couple of nice beaches, while also being a convenient base for traveling throughout the island.
There is currently some county construction on the bay and road right outside the unit during the weekdays that starts at 7:00 am and could be a bit loud, having the doors open or sitting on the lanai was something we had to wait do in the evenings when the crews were gone.
The concierge service offered with our stay was a great way to book fun excursions and get local advice on things to do and see and Property Management was quick and responsive with any question we had.

We really loved this property. It is a beautiful location with a short walk to Magic Sands Beach. We were here in December, not aware that the beach actually disappears until March. We had one day of amazing sand and great waves. After that we sought out other beaches further north. The view from the property is amazing. The rental agency was very helpful and available and we could not ask for more from David@Konaconcierge.net. Highly recommend the snorkeling/dolphin tour as well as the zipline and ATV activities. We even attended a Luau at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott. It was fun and the food was good. If you are looking for a good beach, there is one in front of the Marriott. And although we did not make it to the Fairmont, I hear the beach there is great as well. Overall, great stay. The lower bedroom is not large but my 6'3" son survived it. I do wish the pool was heated but we didn't really need it. Lovely home. Lovely people. Very happy.
