Welcome to ‘Hughes Maui Condo #2’ – third floor unit #307 of Building 10 at the Kamaole Sands Resort. This is a beautifully renovated 1-bedroom condo with 2 full bathrooms and very nice furnishings and local art throughout. In addition to the new King bed in the master bedroom, this unit has two very comfortable Twin Murphy beds in the living room area for additional guests. We were fortunate to have purchased this unit from the Stassinos family in Sept 2021 and also own another 1-bedroom unit in the same building (see listing 495358) in case an additional unit is needed.
This unit has a beautiful ocean view from the covered extra-large third-floor lanai and is just 100 yards from the Kamaole 3 beach; one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world! There you will find great snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, and sunbathing. Building 10 is highly desirable and not only has beautiful views of the inner courtyard, fountains, and ocean, but is *the closest* building to the beautiful Kamaole 3 beach; it is just as close to the beach as it is to the pool!
We limit this 1-bedroom condo to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 kids. The condo is a spacious 818 sq. feet (76 sq. meters) not including the 166 sq. foot extra-large lanai. The unit was renovated in 2016 and includes all stainless-steel kitchen appliances, kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, koa laminate flooring, and much more. We also had a split AC system installed in the bedroom and living room in 2023. You'll love our upgraded Master bedroom suite with a new King bed, distinctive Plantation shutters, new flat screen TV, and A/C. We also have a full-size washer/dryer stack. With the recent fiber optic upgrade, you can enjoy free ultra-fast (>300Mbps) wireless internet in the unit and on our extra-large lanai.
This Kamaole Sands complex has the rare combination of a great pool, great tennis courts, and a great location. World-class golf awaits you within minutes at the Wailea and Makena golf courses or via a short drive to many other courses including Kapalua Plantation and Kaanapali. World-class surfing is also nearby. This unit is a short walk to several restaurants, bars, and small shops. It is located near the Shops of Wailea and exquisite island dining. The description of the property was spot on! We had a marvelous time! Everything we needed for our stay was already in place. There are several restaurants, ice cream shops and souvenir stores within walking distance. The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained! Everybody in Maui was super friendly! We watched beautiful sunsets from the lanai! Morning walks at Kamaole Beach were breathtaking! We saw a sea turtle right on the sand and a monk seal swim past us one morning. We hope to go back soon! We have stayed at several units at Kamamole Sands and the is by far the best. Well equipped with a great view and amazing location. We will be back.

I would highly recommend this condo. It was very clean and updated. The owners thought of all the details and we especially appreciated the extra supplies provided since we only came for a few days. The large lanai was great for lounging and we were close to everything - the beaches, shops and restaurants.

Property was immaculate and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend the condo. My wife and I enjoyed spending time on the oversized lanai and taking in the beautiful view. If you are considering the Kamaloe Sands property this particular will not disappoint. I would recommend this unit to anyone considering a stay.

Everything about this condo is top-notch. The location in South Kihei, just across from Kamaole Beach III is super convenient for swimming, body surfing and snorkeling. We experienced turtles swimming by us every single day we spent at the beach. Kamaole III has lifeguards, which is also nice. There’s a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the large, comfortable lanai. We really enjoyed the lanai for breakfast, sunset watching and a few afternoon naps. The kitchen and living area are very comfortable and well stocked with anything we needed during our stay. Bob and Lindy have thought of everything to make our stay worry-free. There are several good restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive. We will definitely plan to book this condo again in the future.

Maui needs tourism. The many business owners of the island need our dollars in order to survive. But people also need to come with patience, understanding and Aloha. This condo, being in South Kihei, is a perfect place to stay...so easy to get to many wonderful beaches, restaurants and activities. Our hosts, Bob & Lindy, are so kind and communicative.
