Welcome to Hau'oli Hala Kahiki, a hidden gem in Honokowai on Maui's beautiful west shore. Located in the quiet, low-density Kaleialoha building, this sweet 1 bedroom/1 bath condo sits on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb or having to wait for slow elevators. The coveted parking spot right in front of the unit offers easy loading and unloading from your car. Being on the corner, this unit enjoys cooling ocean cross breezes and added light.
The newly updated decor is charming, cozy and comfortable. A new plush cal-king mattress provides for restful slumber, and even the new sleeper sofa has a deluxe memory foam mattress. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes many additional small appliances and prep tools. A large smart TV sits in the living room allowing for guests to enjoy their favorite streaming channels, as well as basic local and cable channels. Ceiling fans and a/c help keep you cool if needed. A bluetooth or USB connected speaker is also provided so you can listen to your favorite tunes.
Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs and an umbrella are provided for your outdoor adventures.
Walk around the side of the building with fragrant flowers and lush tropical foilage and you are on the ocean! Ocean front property not ocean front room. Take in Maui's glorious sunsets, watch the turtles play in the surf and the whales (from November through April) from the chaise lounges on the oceanfront lawn. Beach access is just a few steps away. An outdoor shower allows for cooling off and rinsing off sand. Grill your favorite meals while sipping on your favorite beverage and enjoying the water and outer island view. A refreshing pool on the property is surrounded by swaying palm trees, island flora, and a view of the west Maui mountains.
It's just a short walk to the Farmer's Market and health food store, Bad Ass Coffee and other shops and eateries. Didn't rent a car? No worries - Kaleialoha sits along the West Maui Islander bus route offering travel throughout Maui's west side with connections to other island lines. Honokowai is located between Lahaina/Ka'anapali and Napili/Kapalua, affording multiple beach options, restaurants, water sports, golf, tennis, and shopping!

We had a delightful stay. The place was in a good location with plenty of amenities. The decor was charming. The only downside was the parking space...difficult to get in and out of when another car was in the adjacent parking space. Good thing we had a smaller car.

I loved the local vibe and pineapple theme at the Kaleialoha Hula Hideaway! The condos are in a quiet area that’s a little less touristy, but very close to resorts and restaurants. It was very clean and tidy, the room temperature was perfect, and it had all the amenities I needed. I appreciated the use of the beach chair and extra towels. Coffee pot was easy to use. Plenty of paper products, including coffee filters, so I was nowhere close to running out. The instructions for the keys and parking were very easy to follow. I do recommend a small rental car due to parking. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a great little unit in a nice and quiet complex. The unit was well equipped and had a designated parking spot. Within walking distance to the beach; farmers market and stores. Although it doesn't have beach out we enjoyed watching the turtles and whales from the back grass. Would recommend for couples or families looking for a laid back, quieter paced aeea.

We loved this place. Great location, the house was clean, nice as it looks in the pictures, and they provide everything you need to go to the beach. The back side of the building is beautiful, we saw sea turtles and whales from the seats they have available for everyone staying at the building. I forgot my hair straightener and they didn’t hesitate to help me get it back to my place in SC. I absolutely recommend this place.

Relaxing, clean, comfortable, walking distance to restaurants, quiet, near a park and beach, well kept... I liked the living area, kitchen, and bed. Ceiling fans were nice! Having hair drier was a plus, and we were able to wash and dry clothes mid-week. I thought the furniture and decor was well thought out and made us feel at home for our week. The parking spot was close and felt safe about it. At the end of each day it was great to cook or eat take out and relax.

The property was very nice. It had a nice kitchen we used in the morning to make breakfast before going to explore the island. Nice size living room for relaxing at night. It had a loundry with drier.
The location was nice, right on the water.
The host was very responsive and very pleasant to talk to.
