We had a wonderful stay with our 1 and 4 year old. The condo was spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. This was our second time at Honua Kai and we will definitely be back.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. Central location for many activities. Excellent concierge service. Nice swimming pools for any age near beach, although they can get busy. Beautiful surroundings. Underground parking full by 8 pm so you either have to use valet parking or walk a distance.
Overall we would gladly come back here again. Sad to leave.

Only a few problems, the freezer part of the refrigerator did not work properly. Most of the time the ice was not frozen!!!! Found 3 bugs, two came out from under the stove and other one was in one of the bathroom. oh yes, the dryer took 8 hrs. to dry one small load of clothes!!!!!

The Honua Kai resort is simply stunning, and the private rental company was so easy to work with! The property hosts tranquil pools and several jacuzzis, pool side service, and an abundance of clean towels. (FYI: The “lazy river” is not quite a “river” as it does not connect to make a full circle. I overheard several kids, along with my own, calling out this advertising with, “Hey! This isn’t a lazy river!” It was still fun to play in, though...
The beach was a little disappointing as there is a fair amount of coral directly in front of the property. However, a simple walk down the beach led to sandier, more comfortable places to swim and boogie board.
Our accommodations were well stocked and equipped with a cooler, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. (We went to Costco near the airport when we landed and stocked up on drinks and food, which worked well to fill the fridge and pantry for the week. And the bellhops were so helpful in assisting in bringing our goods upstairs.)
The only disappointing part was the construction going on outside our window. I tried to justify it because of the lower price per night, but it was so agrivating listening to the beeping of trucks, etc. In fact, the road noise on this side of the property was quite loud as well- we wish we could have had the beautiful, folding glass doors to our lenai open more often. If we come back, I will spend the extra money to have a unit facing inside the courtyard for a better “Hawaiian” experience...
Overall, it was a lovely family vacation that we will remember for years to come!!! Thank you!

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this condo. It was the perfect amount of space for us to spred out, but also bond as a family.
All of the beds (even the sofa bed) were super comfortable and the pillows were the best we’ve ever had at a vacation rental. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were nice, but don’t hold much and the dryer can only dry a few items at a time. If we were to do it again, we would have at least tried to get new linens halfway through our 10 day stay.
The pool area at Honua Kai is beyond words. My 3 kids loved the pool areas, water slide, lazy river, infinity pool and the multiple hot tubs. Huge hit! Plus the beach is just steps away. We saw turtles out in the ocean and caught some beautiful sunsets out there.
The location was perfect for most of our activities with lots of restaurants, beaches close!
We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!
