This well kept, small place is just a very short walk to the best beach on Oahu. The neighborhood is lovely and a terrific, reasonably priced plate lunch restaurant is close by. Kailua, with a Foodland, Whole Foods, and many decent restaurants, is a short drive away.
We stayed for a week in early August and there was a church day camp about fifty feet away which was noisy throughout the day. Otherwise, our stay was peaceful and quite pleasant.

It is so close to the beach…I walked barefoot to the beach every morning to watch an amazing sunrise!

The place was perfect for us. On the east side of Oahu with beaches, sightseeing but without the traffic. We had lived in a moterhome for a couple of years so we felt at home with the small kitchen.
A couple of things you should be aware, there is a step over to get into the bathroom and there is no sidewalk from the driveway to the door, so if someone has mobility issues, keep that in mind. Also the driveway where you park is small, so better to get a midsize or smaller rental card. We had a full size and it was a bit tight.
Overall we loved the place and appreciate Vic and Karla as hosts.

The walk to beach was A++++++. Grab a chair and towel and less than 5 minute walk to a very beautiful beach.

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to Waimanalo Beach and convenient to explore the rest of the island - and the little outside patio. Communication was easy and efficient and check-in with the host was a good way to kick-off our stay. Recommended!
