We came with an adult family of 6. The house has a main bedroom for parents, a cottage suite for married younger couple and two rooms upstairs for single adults. Right on the water, the sound of the surf, stars at night and other aesthetics were lovely. Kitchen well equipped allowed us to cook together several nights. We were close enough to get to boat tour, helicopter tour, local beach and Waimea canyon within an hour. Na Pali coast was a bit further, but a great day trip

Our family enjoyed the beautiful views from this property. Watching the waves breaking on the rocks just below, occasional sea turtles, outrigger canoe teams, fishing boats and surfers....something to see 24/7, including amazing bright stars at night. Each day we could see whales in the distance, functional binoculars would have been helpful. You will not be let down by the view. And you can literally walk 100 yards up the street to the Spouting Horn, go early and sometimes you'll be the only ones there. The house itself is functionally appointed, but is somewhat dated as its an older home, but the views from all rooms and the spacious lanai are magnificent. There are however a few things that could be done to make guests feel more comfortable, such as functioning blinds without missing panels, baseboard repairs in a few areas, a screen door not staying on track if not careful, a few loose handles here and there, all which would be relatively easy repairs so its surprising they haven't been. All in all we had a wonderful time, the location is amazing!Mahalo

We had a great stay at this property. Met all our needs. Will mention that when we were cleaning up to check out, some stuff (sock & bottle of vitamins) was found under one of the beds that didn’t belong to us. Could have been cleaner for that reason. Also one slider door was very difficult to lock. if raining - definitely watch your step around the garage area leading to back of house. Is slippery.

Loved waking up and having coffee on the patio each morning. Incredible views from every room. I wouldn’t recommend for small children since you cannot swim out front but there is a nice swimmable beach within walking distance. The guest room was perfect for our newly weds in the group. They had their own kitchen, bathroom, patio and bedroom with portable air conditioning. The location is perfect for exploring both sides of the island but recommend stopping at Costco and stocking up. The local grocery store is extremely expensive.
A few things that would make this home perfect…new bath towels (the ones they had were very old and rough), the home is very dated and could use a refresh (paint, furnishings, general maintenance). I would recommend a combo lock on the door instead of a lockbox for ease of use with a large group.
Also, the resident rooster became our island pet (we called him Harold) and we looked forward to his morning wake up calls.

We stayed at this property for multiple days and it was fantastic. Check in and out was simple. Great sunset ocean views and BBQs on the patio. We had 8 people in our group and the living arrangements were great. Fun little beach within walking distance and only a short 15 minute drive to commercial shopping district. Would stay at this property again in a heartbeat!!!!
