Completely renovated true oceanfront 3 bedroom (2 bedroom plus loft) 3 bathroom penthouse in Papakea unit F405. The view is phenomenal!!! There is absolutely nothing in between you and the ocean which is 50 feet away. Whale watching from the living room, the lanai…even the master shower. Absolutely gorgeous renovation and EVERYTHING is new including the A/C. Not your average property, this bright and airy home with high vaulted ceilings is beautifully furnished with a casual beachy flair. The new 4 panel sliding door really opens up the indoor space to the lanai which is perfectly furnished for relaxing or socializing. Papakea has 3 “TRUE” oceanfront buildings and only a handful of 3 bedroom 3 bathroom suites and of these F405 is the most recently renovated.

Thoughtfully designed with an abundance of seating inside and out and a beautiful driftwood table that seats 10. Enjoy an afternoon of reading and relaxing on the lanai day bed listening to the lull of the ocean waves. Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets on the super comfy lounge chairs or enjoy your morning latte on the outdoor table for two. Large sectional for cozy evenings with the family watching movies on the big flat screen TV.
Need to get away? Enjoy the gorgeous master suite with luxurious king size upholstered bed, vaulted ceilings and cozy swivel chair to enjoy the stunning views. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves in the master bedroom and open up the beautiful new windows which allow an extra spacious opening to appreciate this amazing location.
The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed plus a built-in single bed on top of the owner’s lock off closet. The 3rd bedroom is a spacious loft area that is open to the living space but also has a sliding woven shade for additional separation and privacy. This bedroom has some ocean views and a queen bed along with a twin bed. We also have a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The stairs to the loft bedroom are narrower and slightly steeper than normal stairs, so not the best for somebody older.
We like quality, so we have not scrimped on beds, linens, towels, dishes etc. Beautiful upholstered beds, Saatva luxury mattresses. and fresh white Egyptian100 percent cotton sheets. We have an abundance of dishes, wine glasses, serving pieces etc. No need to go out for latte’s, with our Breville machine, also a drip coffee for those who prefer. Make smoothies with the Vitamix blender and fresh juice with the Champion Juicer. Our brand new full size washer and dryer is perfect for a large family.
If you read through some of the reviews you will see that I am very hands on and always available to answer any of your queries, and unexpected issues that can sometimes arise. I provide an extensive information manual to answer all your questions and I have things very well organized and labelled for your convenience. Our Maui home is kept impeccably clean.
We are perfectly situated in the complex to maximize the cooling trade winds and 4 nice big ceiling fans keep it naturally comfortably cool. But for those who want it really cool we have installed a brand new 4 zone A/C unit which cools all 3 bedroom and the living room ...

Terrific view! Comfortable accommodations. Within walking distance to many different shops and dining. Had to walk a ways to enjoy the beach and the pool was not conducive for toddlers. Varied amenities on the property

We booked this VRBO for our family of 5 and stayed 7 nights. Condo is updated and beautifully decorated.
The condo was perfect for us. We loved the direct non-obstructed view of the water (the biggest selling point for us), three sleeping areas, three bathrooms. The deck was wonderful to enjoy all day. Resort is smaller and quiet, pools warm.
The condo was well equipped with more than typical - 3 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 10 beach towels, 2 boogie boards, sand toys, various sized coolers, all the kitchen essentials, shampoo/conditioner, bath towels, and plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. The best equipped VRBO I’ve stayed in.
We really enjoyed this place and would 100% stay here again. Thank you to the owners for creating such a gem!

We had the best stay in your condo. It was all that it was said to be. The condo was exactly what was shown in the pictures. Super clean, bright and airy! Having the boogie boards, beach towels, chairs and cooler was so appreciated. I'm so glad we found this place and we hope to stay again when we come back to Maui.

The condo is in a great location. Unobstructed views. Pack your binoculars it will be worth it.
A few things to point out with the condo. The on-line pics make it seem larger than it is. The stairs to the loft are VERY narrow. I’m 5’ and 95 lbs and used this room. It would be a tight squeeze on the stairs for anyone larger.
The loft itself is a nice space.
We didn’t have to use the AC as the breeze from the balcony door was plenty. We even got cold some nights. Which brings me to the need for extra blankets. That would be nice to have for the bedding. Still have the service fee for the use of the AC. Not hot enough for that and not cold enough to turn on the heat.
The provided shampoo, conditioner and soap was random brands and had a strong scents that several of my family couldn’t tolerate. Not the type you find in a nice hotel. So plan to pack your good stuff. Few bugs which they say are normal. Not a problem.
Cleaning staff could spend a bit more time around the coffee espresso machine.
Washer/dryer is full size which is great.
We were a group of older adults so we didn’t use any of the beach toys.

This unit in Papakea was absolutely beautiful. We traveled with our family (12), eight of us stayed in this unit and we loved it! The view and the sounds of the ocean were incredible. We saw rainbows almost daily, whale watched from the deck and took naps on the patio lounger. Our time spent in Maui was amazing! We did the road to hana loop, enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise on the Pride of Maui and a Christmas Morning Molokini Snorkel with them too.

My husband described his experience the best "we are living in a postcard". We loved our stay! Size was perfect for 3 sets of adults. All had their own bathroom. Laundry facilities inside were very handy. Plenty available linens. We had room for cooking together and eating together. Kitchen had everything we needed. We were near the grocery and restaurants and could walk to both. We took the Ocean Whale snorkeling trip and kayaking with Gabriel's Ohana. Both are great. The best part of the trip was just sitting on our heavenly balcony. Many moon sets and sunsets were spent not moving anywhere. We would be back in a heartbeat if we could.

While sitting with me on the lanai and looking out over the gorgeous water and a clear view of Moloka’i, he said, “So, dad, will our place on Oahu be this awesome?”
The condo was just we needed for nights in and out. The location is ideal for snorkeling right out back, or heading to Napili or Kapalua Bays. Which we did.
My daughter and wife had some wonderful walks/runs along the nearby boardwalk. It was nice to be able to walk to the Fish Market, Bad Ass Coffee and other conveniences.
Dana was exceptional in her communications leading up to our stay since it was not long after the Lahaina fires. It’s tragic to see the devastation, but warming to see how much the community is rallying to recover. We hope to be back and see what Lahaina becomes.
