This lovely old Hawaii inspired home is pure perfection. Laying in bed listening to the waves and surf with breezes wafting in the ocean side windows in the upstairs bedroom was a dream. The downstairs soaking tub - so relaxing as were the outdoor spaces. Artwork and painted rocks are a nice whimsical touch. We hope to be back!

This is a lovely house with everything you need to experience Hana's beauty and local surroundings. It can be warm if there is no breeze as there is no AC but it is extremely peaceful. The food trucks offer great options if they are open and the Hana Ranch Restaurant offers excellent dining options. Hamoa Beach is close and a great beach if you enjoy rough waves.

Loved this home! This was a perfect secluded getaway for my husband and I. The ocean view, the close proximity to hikes, waterfalls, beaches and more and the wonderful property manager made this one of our all time favorites!
The only recommendation I have is to get a four wheel drive vehicle if possible. It can rain a lot and the steep, gravel driveway can be a bit tricky to maneuver.
Other than that, we would definitely recommend this locatuon.

Lovely, clean, spacious property. Comfortable bedding and furniture. Basic kitchen cooking supplies (oils, condiments, etc.) already present. Beach towels and laundry machines especially appreciated.

If you take the road to Hana you should plan to spend two days at least. We spent two nights here which gave us a full day to explore around Hana. We brought food as suggested and had two wonderful dinner at the house. It has a great kitchen set up and plenty of porch space for sitting outside and listening to the oven. The second floor bedroom suite is fantastic.

Secluded, but close enough to Hanā to get supplies or grab food.
The house is laid out so that windows can be opened and intermittent rains cooled things off periodically - we didnt need the room-based air conditioners at all!
The kitchen is well appointed and easy to work with.
Main bedroom - wonderful spacious, above average comfortable bed.
Downstairs bedroom - very comfortable bed directly below a fan to keep extra cool!
Living areas - well appinted and comfortable and very spacious feeling.
Lanai - well thought out also well appointed, also with an outdoor fan over the furniture which helped keep biting bugs at bay.
Yard - easy to walk aroubf on barefoot. If you get some clear skies, lay down on the grass or a towel or blanket for a great view of the stars. I saw six shooting stars within the space of an hour!
We only made enough time to paint one rock - will do more next time!
Tip notch place!! Thanks so much!!

Beautiful house and a great location. We were greatly amused by previous reviews mentioning rodents and braying mules as we encountered neither. We did have some lovely and friendly geckos and the occasional feral cow as visitors however! Everyone involved was delightful to work with. Awesome place and experience!

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with my sister and her husband who we had a double wedding with in 1973. We loved the house in Hana; however, it was a little closer to the road than we realized and had quite a bit of traffic noise. The outdoor bathtub was so nice and the upstairs bedroom was inviting and had amazing views! We also really enjoyed our time relaxing on the lanai!!!

We are so glad we chose this rental for our delayed honeymoon in Maui. The house was absolutely beautiful; the gardens were stunning; the place had everything we needed (and a few things we didn't know we needed--like rock painting! :). We had the best time just sitting on the lanai, reading, listening to the birds, looking out over the garden to the ocean, enjoying each other. We are so grateful to have had this experience.
