You'll be enjoying the top floor for extra quiet and security, not to mention unmatched ocean views. This vacation condo is not just in an oceanfront complex, it is a proper Oceanfront Condo. Don't be disappointed with your rental. True oceanfront condo complexes are hard to find and the only real oceanfront condos at Kona Reef are located in buildings A and D. Any others are just ocean view!

We are situated a comfortable few steps away from the general pool/jacuzzi/barbecue area and yet conveniently around the corner so as to avoid any disruptive noises from there. The condo feels like a home away from home, with an up close view of the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean where you will experience Hawaii in all its natural splendor, removed from the tourist crowds. Palm trees sway softly as the waves rush into shore. Look for dolphins, turtles, and if you’re lucky, even whales frolicking right in front of you! Every sunset, a few boogie boarders will ride those waves into Honl's Beach, just 200 feet away. This is known as the home of boogie boarding. The little beach at the corner of the resort grounds, is an easy 2-minute walk from the condo, and features a small cove where there is some nice snorkeling to be had.

The well-appointed condo is clean, bright, and airy, and is one of just a few units in the resort with EFFICIENT AND QUIET Dual Zone air conditioning throughout the living room and bedroom. Additionally, ceiling fans in the living room, lanai, and bedroom create a pleasant breeze. This condo has been fully remodeled and upgraded. Brand new beautiful wood framed glass sliding doors open from the living room to the lanai. There is a KING bed with a brand new memory foam mattress in the bedroom. In the living room, a brand new high end sofa bed pulls out into a very comfortable queen bed, thanks to the latest technology. No uncomfortable bar under your back! Comfortable bedding is provided for both beds. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, raised sink, and modern fixtures. Cable television is offered in both the living room and in the bedroom. The rental is in the perfect location to walk down the street to where all the shops and restaurants are located. The owner gave the best recommendations for places to eat and beaches to visit! She reached out during our visit to make sure we didn’t need anything. The condo was clean and well stocked with the most beautiful sunset views. I would recommend this rental to anyone staying in Kona!

You just can't beat the location of this condo, D36, at Kona Reef. You can spend hours on the lanai watching waves, surfers and whales. The sunsets are magnificent! A short walk toward town gives you access to all the restaurants and shopping you could want. There's a small beach for laying in the sun or watching the surfers... not for surfing beginners! The condo itself is perfect, clean, well-maintained, updated, and it has everything you'll need for a beach outing including chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, cooler, and boogie boards. This is our second time staying here, each time for two weeks, and we've loved every minute. We hope to come back again!

Great trip and exactly as we expected. Location is terrific and waterfront patio was incredible. Unit is on the top floor, AC worked great and the condo was well stocked with paper items, etc. I’d love to see some nicer bedsheets, warmer lighting in the bathroom and lounge chairs on the patio, but that’s just my bougie side coming out. ;) Thanks for a great stay!

It was an ok place to stay. It wasn’t the cleanest, hair in the shower drain and the outside of the toilet wasn’t clean (they just need a new cleaning service). My husband mentioned it and he doesn’t ever see things like that so that tells you a lot. The furniture was a little dated - it just needs updated furniture. We went to another apartment in the same complex (a friend stayed there) and it was really nice and up to date. The location is great for restaurants and shopping but there were a ton of homeless people in that area. Overall it was an ok stay.
