The property has a nice location, 1 mile from restaurants and 1.5 miles from downtown.
The view is amazing!
The furnishings need updating, however, I think this is the style here in hawaii.

We stayed 3 nights on the Big Island. We chose a condo setting so we could have access to cooking some of our own meals. My husband wanted to make some muffins but nothing suitable to bake those in. Other than that, the condo offered all that we needed. We had a gorgeous view. We did not use the pool as time and weather did not permit. The condo had an ant problem which was a little annoying. Their was a portable AC unit in the bedroom and ceiling fans in the main room. We could not get the slider closed all the way to be able to lock it. Notes and instructions were outdated and/or old. The unit could use some updating. Overall, a nice stay.

The view from the balcony was wonderful.
The people at the Evolve team were very responsive to my questions. They were good to
work with. They answered my questions very quickly.
This unit had an AC in the bedroom which helped to keep the place cool at night.

Great large condo with balcony facing the ocean, easy parking and access instructions. All amenities we required. Fairly clean but tiny ants on kitchen counter-so never left food out. Pool was undergoing maintenance at the time.- would have been nice to know prior.
Otherwise we were happy with our stay here.

My wife and I stayed here recently during our honeymoon in Kona, and the place was absolutely fantastic! We LOVED this condo, its amenities including the AC in the bedroom, and its location. I have no idea why all the reviews are not great. This place rocked!!! And it is so close to the nightlife! It’s a short 5 minute Uber to the restaurants and bars, and if u walk to town, it’s only a 1 mile hike (that was a lifesaver when we couldn’t catch an Uber after midnight). The check in process is easy since it is just a code, the parking is great and my god, the view of the sunset over the ocean from the balcony is breathtaking. Also the shower was great, and the place was clean. Plus it was stocked with a lot of essentials. Big thumbs up!

Nice place! I’d rate it a 4 out of five. Why not a 5? It’s tired and in need of an upgrade. Well used and well worn. Would I stay there again? Yes but it’s expensive as compared to the value. Owners are nice and very responsive as we had a TV issue and they cared!

We were pleasantly surprised at the location with a great ocean view! The place was fairly clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen except to put our water in the frig. We planned on being gone all day and just needing a place to lay our heads…so everything was fine until it wasn’t!! We had a cockroach visitor on our last night there which my husband killed and it freaked me out. Even more disgusting than that though we’re the tiny ants! We even found them in the bed on the last day🤮. Luckily there was a bottle of ant/roach killer and we sprayed that throughout and shook out the sheets so we could spend the last night there. I was still freaked out and didn’t sleep well.
The number we had to the property manager came in handy because the first night we noticed there was only one mask/snorkel and within an hour a brand new one was delivered to the door which I thought was cool. But then when I reported the ants, her reply was something like..we try to get rid of them but it’s Hawaii and they are everywhere 😡
There is no air in the unit, but plenty of fans and a room AC in the bedroom. The bedroom window was open and you can hear the ocean at night which was also cool. The place is older and probably could use a facelift, but it was inexpensive so we kind of expected that. The quoted price was clearly stated plus taxes and fees. It came out to exactly 50% more once all Hawaii’s fees and taxes were added. So that’s something to consider, but again, it’s stated up front and that was nice, no surprises at least. Many of those fees the owners have no control over, it’s a Hawaii charge.
The complex was quiet and beautiful. If they can get the bug problem under control we might consider staying again or even recommending it. It is a third floor property with a parking spot and close to some beautiful beaches and restaurants.
