It is the perfect home base for experiencing one of the most awesome places on earth with its sightseeing, beaches, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, golf and restaurants. The condo itself has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, high quality and comfortable furnishings, wifi, flat screen HD TV (including Showtime channels) and blu-ray player. There are also numerous Kauai travel, nature and history guides in the 'lift-top' coffee table. Like most of Kauai's waterfront properties which enjoy trade winds and gentle cooling breezes, there is no air conditioning.
Sealodge offers a BBQ area, swimming pool, hiking path to the secluded Sealodge Beach, and is only minutes away from Princeville Center, Hanalei Town, Hanalei Bay beaches, Anini Beach, shopping, restaurants, botanical gardens, unlimited hiking opportunities and numerous other attractions of Kauai's North shore. Note that the swimming pool has now reopened after some nice renovations.

Words cannot accurately describe the views from the condo and the lanai. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Quiet location made for a wonderful trip.

This condo had beautiful views, and was stocked with all we needed to enjoy the beach (chairs, umbrella, small cooler.) Beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning, saw lots of albatross and seabirds flying by. If you walk around to the other side of the condo complex there’s a beautiful view of the sunset. The trail down to sea lodge beach is near this unit, and was an easy hike to a beautiful small beach. However a few things could definitely be better. The unit was not clean. Other than fresh towels and bedding, most of the surfaces need a deep clean/dusting. We did a lot of cleaning when we arrived. With no air conditioning or ceiling fan over the bed the tower fans in the unit were a necessity, but they were very dirty. And this is not the owners fault, but the unit above us had what we assume is a dehumidifier hose running off their balcony that made a lot of noise and would wake us up throughout the night, the water would just drop past our bedroom window to the ground and was quite loud. It was too hot to close the window to block the noise. We did not get a good nights sleep in this condo.

This was our third stay at the E9, but it's been six years since our last stay. It felt like no time had passed in the E9 or with the island. It was like riding a bike. I love the views from every window and watching the sunrise from the lanai. We loved having the beach gear to use plus the washer/dryer comes in handy for packing light. The condo was clean and comfortable. I love that blue couch! There was one thing I needed to message the owner, Chris, about and he was quick to respond. It is reassuring to know if needed he was there to help instead of trying to deal with a corporate owner. I like the personal experience of knowing you can reach out to the owner who is willing to go above and beyond. Thanks again Chris! We will be back!

We lucked out with good weather in the months of Dec and Jan. The property is compact with expansive, breathtaking views! Chris was a great host and we loved the North Shore, so many great places to snorkle and many turtle sightings which was an amazing New Year's gift. We will definitely be back!

First time for us in Kauai. We feel like we wouldn’t change anything about our vacation. Definitely plan on renting a car if you want to check the island out, and plan on one to two hours in the car, depending on where you want to go. But if you want some relaxing days on some world class beaches, I think this the spot. Plus, the Sealodge beach was incredible. And had some of the best snorkeling we had done the entire trip. We will definitely be back!!!!
