We are a five minute drive to Hanalei and the Princeville Market Place, two local shopping areas. For Outdoor Enthusiast there are endless walking trails, golf courses, bike paths, hiking trails, and world class tennis courts all on Princeville. Just a short 5 minute drive to Hanalei you can enjoy the historic town, it's quaint shops, local artists, great dining, surf, bike and kayak rentals, a health food store, smoothie bars, Hanalei Strings (where you can get your Ukulele and a lesson), and some great views of taro fields. For Surfers the world renowend Hanalei Bay and Tunnels Makua beach is your backyard playground. For Hikers the world famous Kalalau Trail of the Napali coast is a 20 min stunning drive along the coast to the end of the road at Ke'e beach where the trail begins. For Snorkelers the North Shore's famous Tunnels beach and Ke'e beach are your place to find the Honu, sea turtle, and many other tropical fish. For sight seers, the options are endless. And for those that just want to relax, there are unlimited beaches calling. A romantic adventure, family vacation, girls getaway, a long term stay in paradise, or a guys surf trip our home will fulfill your dreams of living the island life in comfort, tranquility, and ease.
There is no central air conditioning in the unit. There are two portable AC units in the upstairs master bedrooms. I have just added a portable for the downstairs but no central. There are high end fans in every single room with multiple speeds. There is a wonderful tropical cross breeze as well with all the windows open which is how we love it. There is no pool or spa, but the beach is just a mile away. There is a wifi speaker in the house to connect your favorite tunes.

My family loved our stay at Ema’s place in Princeville. Check in process was easy, and she was very easy to connect with. The home was close to many things and a short drive from places in Princeville along with Hanalei. We used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed to make our meals! Ema’s place was perfect for our family. I also loved that she provided games, toys for kids, and beach gear! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time enjoying the North Shore with this condo as home base. The place is packed with everything you will need for your stay, especially if you have children with you. Games, toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. the kitchen has everything you would want. Unfortunately, our stay aligned with what is likely one of the warmest and sunniest weeks of the year and the electrical infrastructure only allows you to run two of the 3 bedroom AC units at a time. So one of the bedrooms remained quite warm until a few hours after sunset. For most people this should be no problem. We just had some tired kids who were in bed early especially with the time change. No complaints otherwise and we would stay here again.

This property was great for our family of 5. It was in a great location on the North side of the Island. All of the boogie boards, beach towels, and umbrellas was a plus. There were portable AC units in each of the upstairs bedrooms which were handy when it got super hot. The property was quiet and neighbors respectful. With a family of 5 (including a teen) it would have been nice to have two showers. Ema was a great host and we would stay again!

Great location for all your adventures on the north shore. I recommend checking out the trail to the beach just down the road by Nourish. It sounds like some people might have gotten confused by the trail signs thinking it might be a privates trail. Read the FULL signs. We didn’t have any problems. Met some nice locals on the trail. Drive SLOW on the road and be respectful. Enjoy!

Everything was excellent except my husband and I are elderly and I’ve had polio so the steps were a big problem for us. We didn’t know it was 2 story. We had a great time.

The home was located in a wonderful location just outside Hanalei and super close to everything in Princeville. The house was as described with a good sized kitchen for cooking and a great supply of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. It was a bit tight for six friends but we made it work and had a great time. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful.

My family enjoyed our time here - it's clean, has lots of space and the beds were comfortable. We much appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella. It's a good central location to explore the north shore of Kauai convenient to both Hanalei and Princeville.

Me and my 4 children had an absolute wonderful experience staying here. We are all homebodies and really appreciate the feeling of being home after a long day of exploring. This place provided just that. It was very clean and bright. The ambiance provided an uplifting and warm feeling. The roosters were very welcoming too!
The whole check in process was very easy to understand and follow. When we first arrived we were provided with gifts in the kitchen that the kids and I enjoyed immensely. That was such a nice surprise! The location of the place is only about 5 minutes from the Hanalei Beach as well as the town Hanalei. There is also a nearby grocery store which is very convenient too. Everything is provided for a day at the beach. We used it all especially 2 of the boggie boards. If I ever come back I hope to stay here again.

About a 10 min drive to Hanalei bay and another shopping center/area for food so we felt it was pretty central. Easy check. The house had plenty of utensils, cups, plates, and cookware. Not stocked with any additional items like seasoning or oil but that’s okay they did leave some complimentary snacks and beverages which was nice. Only thing that stood out was that the house could use a deep clean some less common areas were pretty dusty and the washing machine had some build up/gunk in it. Overall the stay was good.
