Kai Nani means 'beautiful ocean' in Hawaiian. True to its name, our Sealodge condominium (Unit #G-2) offers some of the most spectacular ocean views in Princeville. Perched dramatically on cliffs overlooking the waters of the blue Pacific, Sealodge is a small low-rise complex, its wind swept cedar siding in perfect harmony with the ocean environment surrounding it. Kai Nani is a one-bedroom one-bath first floor unit which faces east/northeast and looks directly down the coastline to Anini Beach and the Kilauea Lighthouse. There is an unobstructed ocean view from every room in the condo, and the gentle sound of the surf permeates the air. The covered deck that juts out toward the cliff from the living room is a perfect spot to sit and watch the waves and the often visible marine life. Dolphins can sometimes be seen frolicking in the water, and, in the winter months and early spring, humpback whales join in the display. The unit is conveniently equipped for vacationing comfort; you will find a list of its many features and amenities below.
Kai Nani offers the following amenities: cordless telephone and flat screen color TV. The full size kitchen contains: electric range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and a large array of kitchen equipment. We provide numerous extras, such as beach chairs, cooler, binoculars, books and magazines, etc., and High Speed Internet.. The unit is about 50 feet from the coin operated laundry located in F building. There is a very comfortable "Novaform 14" Comfort Grande Plus Memory Foam Mattress Medium" king-sized bed in the bedroom, and a double size futon available for guests who do not wish to share the bed.

Perfect location with views of the ocean and swaying palms and a 10-minute hike to a secluded beach! Condo was well-maintained and the lovely host sent me a lot of useful information beforehand. Make sure you wake up at least once to see the sunrise, it is stunning! Princeville center is a 5-minute drive with shops and restaurants and Hanalei is less than 15 minutes away.

Fantastic ocean views from the living room and bedroom, simple, basic but functional condo with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen with big stove and big fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, pots, plates, bowls, cups and glasses for wine, beer etc.Very comfortable king size bed with all clean sheets and pillows. Nothing to deduct points for, I would stay again.

We loved our stay at Sealodge G2. We found it to be very clean and well maintained. The views are stunning, even got to see a Honu at the “Secret Beach” on our very first day! Hope we can visit again in the future.

We loved staying here. The listing is accurate, host is friendly, value is fantastic. We were thankful to use the snorkel equipment, cooler, umbrella, and chairs at the beautiful north shore beaches. And you absolutely cannot beat waking up to a perfect view of the sunrise from bed and sipping your morning coffee on the balcony as the sun climbs over the ocean. Or - if the morning brings a tropical shower - enjoying the view of the silver clouds above the waves and knowing you're in for another fine Kauai day.

We loved the situation of this condo, with views of the ocean from nearly every room. We could watch the sunrise from our bed! The condo was well equipped for all of our needs, but was a bit worn in places. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property on the North Shore, with easy access to great hiking, amazing beaches, and shopping in Hanalei. Property has an ocean view, and there's a walking path to a secluded beach nearby.

We had rain off and on for our visit, which is typical for this time of year. But even with the rain and clouds, the views from this condo are amazing. It's situated so you see right down the coastline. This was our first time on Kauai and we only had two days to explore. We'd love to go back again and explore more. We didn't find many restaurant options in Princeville itself for a nice dinner out, but there are quite a few in the neighboring communities. Reserve early!

This property is an older one, but that doesn’t change anything for us! The pictures accurately show what to expect, decor-wise, when choosing this as your lodging.
What the pictures don’t accurately show is the instant relaxation when walking out onto the lanai to see the ocean as your backyard, and the feeling of having the windows open at night, allowing you to listen to the waves while the ocean breeze keeps you cool. Absolute bliss!
Other than that, the rental was well stocked and in great shape for her age! You can tell the owners take good care to make sure visitors have a wonderful stay.
We were not able to make it to to Sealodge Beach. We tried, but things seemed to get a little hairy at the very point you lay eyes on the beach. We may have done it wrong, and would have tried again if we had more time! But please don’t place your hopes on spending time there, because it’s not easy to get to if it’s been raining at all lol (tip: take hiking poles and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy!).
The location was gorgeous! There’s something about the north shore of Kauai that heals the soul. We were not fully prepared for the road system on Kauai, though! Make sure to plan out your trip so that all the west side things are done in a day, because it takes a while to get there! The Princeville area is adorable, we loved the Princeville shopping center right up the street.
All-in-all, this was an amazing stay and we’d definitely return!
