Maalaea Banyans Condos are near the Maui Ocean Center in Maalaea Bay. Maalaea Bay has a fishing and boating harbor where most island charter boats operate from. Adjacent to the harbor are restaurants, shops, groceries, etc. The condo is walking distance from these attractions and activities. The harbor is world renowned for whale watching and surfing during the respective season. Onsite management and receptionist for all your questions and needs!
Our condo is located on the second floor with unobstructed 180 degree view of the ocean from the lanai. You are only 50 feet from the beach. You can walk sugar beach for miles!
Fifteen minutes away by car is Lahaina town that is world renowned for shopping, dining and entertainment.
The Maalaea Banyan Condominium grounds feature pool, spa and gas barbeque area on greenbelt between condo and ocean. These amenities are directly in front view from our condo lanai. Enjoy ocean sunsets and watch turtles surface often!
The condo is fully stocked so you only need to bring food, drink and toothbrush! Carefully decorated and very pleasant surroundings throughout.

This property was great for a week + stay! It was super easy to check in, the code worked without issues and to park you just filled out a card for a parking pass at the front desk. The property was clean, quiet, and in a great location! Views from the 2nd floor balcony were beautiful and we were able to watch the sunrise from it a few mornings. The little beach was less than a 5 minute walk away, and never crowded! The property also had enough towels, grill equipment, coolers, and beach toys/supplies for our entire stay. My only complaint was there wasn’t very many cleaning products available, such a disinfecting wipes or sprays, which was miner but would have been nice. Overall, a great stay and would definitely go back!

It a 80 unit four story property with a elevator, this unit on the 2nd floor. Beautiful Oceanfront view of Kahoolavi, Molokini and So Maui. Heated pool and Spa, with Oceanfront BBQ's. The unit has a confortable queenbed, adequate air conditioning and ceiling fans in living and bedroom. It has a large washer and dryer and everything you would need for your stay. I really enjoyed the stay and likely will return again.

My husband and I love Donna's place because it's well situated in Kihei and you can see turtles and whales depending on the time of year. Has everything you could need for a great experience. We're coming back next year as well!

We sure enjoyed our stay here. Loved watching the whales from the lanai and seeing the turtles on the beach. Everything you need is 10-15 minutes away but you don’t have to have the hustle and bustle around you every minutes. If you want to walk out to a beach or have no wind, this is not the property for you. But if you want peace and tranquillity this is amazing. Would totally stay here again. Donna was very responsive to any text. Unit was clean and comfortable.

We loved this place. It was my wife and I and our 7 year old. It was the perfect place for us to stay. We loved having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Seriously the views are amazing. There’s also a little beach area that always had sea turtles feeding or just laying on the beach. There is beach chairs and a cooler that we used every day. Would definitely stay here again. It’s not a super fancy place and it’s dated, but we don’t care about that stuff. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for us.

Our family had a wonderful stay in the Condo.The sofa bed had foam mattress which was very comfortable to sleep. The kitchen had all the utensils and cutlery, so we were able to cook our meals everyday. We enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony plus watching the whales was a bonus.And a few steps from the back of the building gets you to a small beach where we watched the turtles swimming back to the beach in the evening. It is very close to the Maalaea Harbor from where most of the snorkeling tours to Molokini crater starts. Great place!

What a little gem to have found! Beautiful lanai space to watch whales that put on quite the show in January! The sea turtles coming up on shore every evening was a bonus! Enjoyed using the pool and just a short walk down the back sidewalk to a perfect little (not crowded) sandy beach. Couple really good restaurants nearby. We will be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay here & would definitely recommend to others. The ocean view is beautiful. We were volunteering with the Humane Society & needed to be at different places on the Island, so the location was convenient. It's a15-25 min drive to East, West & South Maui. However, not much to do in the immediate vicinity, if that is important to you. There is a beach in front of the condo, but the tide was too high to use while we were there. A nice beach is a 5 minute walk away. The condo is a bit dated, but the price was very reasonable; don't know if this is the normal price or discounted, as many of the condo's were, due to lack of visitors to Maui after the fires. A few housekeeping items could be improved. While the floor was clearly vacuumed, it was not mopped. My feet were black walking around, so I wore socks. I'm 115 lbs and sunk into the bed mattress. We took the sheets off and saw that the bed had been made with the bottom of the mattress up. We flipped it so the pillow top was on the top, and it was fine. It is the first condo I have rented that did not have shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower. No big deal, but that little extra would be a nice touch. Cleaning supplies were also lacking. I try to respect the condo's I stay in & realize some do not. But there is quite a list of housekeeping duties you are asked to do for checkout & would have been difficult if we took the early flight we originally planned. Not an issue if you are checking out at 11am.

The condominium is right on the rocky beach with great ocean views. It’s a one bedroom suitable for a single or couple. I rented a car so it was very easy to go all over the island from there. I did take the tour “Road to Hana” & so happy I didn’t drive it! I drove up to the 10,000 foot summit & all around the beaches. Look for the green sea turtles arriving around evening at the beach outside of the unit. The patio needs to be cleaned before every rental & better instructions about the timer on the AC. Also, I have never had to add water above a dryer so I wasn’t quite sure about that & didn’t see a lint filter on the dryer. The owner was very easy to contact.
