Attractive, ground floor, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with a separate living room and private entry. On the island Oahu, you'll find comfort, relaxation here while on vacation. 6-8 minute walk away awaits you to world famous Kailua Beach, The busy night life of Waikiki is a short 20 minute drive. Tradewind Bungalow is the ideal location while on vacation here in Hawaii. All the rooms have been repainted and feature newer wood laminate flooring throughout.
The first bedroom is 11 by 12 sq. ft. and has a queen size bed, a dresser, and a window AC. This bedroom also accesses the outside lanai. This bedroom is also the most private of the two bedrooms. The second bedroom is 12 by 15 sq. ft. and has a queen size bed, and a large dresser. The front room is 13 by 15 sq. ft. This room is furnished with a three person leather couch, a 55 inch OLED SMART TV complete with a Spectrum cable box., a four person dining table expandable to six persons and a built in kitchen. Sliding door to a private patio with table, chairs and barbecue. High speed Internet access available. for our little guests. Boogie boards, 4 beach chairs and a cooler are available for a fun day on the beach. There is a full kitchenette with a granite countertop with a drop in sink, an under the counter refrigerator, a full size wall mounted microwave unit, a toaster oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, a two burner hot plate, and assorted cooking utensils plus a large breakfast griddle.
Washroom/bathroom/shower combination. Washer and dryer available. Air conditioning in one bedroom.
Street parking. Whenever I have four or more adults booked, I make a second full bathroom available at no additional charge. I can also put a quality mattress twin bed in the front bedroom next to the queen size bed for either a fifth person or should two guests want separate beds.. Please e-mail me for any special requests as I try to be as accommodating as possible. Baby playpen available.
Located in the beach town of Kailua which has a great assortment of restaurants and shops.
Guests have free use of a large quality LG washer and dryer located conveniently outside the front door.

This is a lovely little two bedroom apartment with one bathroom. The first thing I have to say is it the host is an incredibly wonderful man, and very helpful with everything concerning the apartment and even my flat tires! The air conditioning unit is only in the small bedroom, but most of the time you don’t need an air conditioner the overhead fans usually suffice. The owner has two wonderful dogs and it is pet friendly. His border collie got used to coming to me for treats as I would come home from my families visit and my little teacup poodle of 5 pounds Would try to avoid her! The border collie, and his Rottweiler are very gentle, lovely dogs and they don’t bother you they don’t bother anybody. It’s a short distance from everything including the beach and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the owner.

Great location!! There was plenty of room and had the amenities necessary for my long term stay. It was walking distance from the beach and many shops and restaurants. I look forward to staying here again.

Our host is incredibly kind and warming with an abundance of local knowledge.
The property is extremely well appointed with grill, stove burners, small oven, full fridge, great quality plates and flatware.
The beds are very comfortable
The beach is very close
So many wonderful restaurants to enjoy your favorite “worldly” meals
I am thoroughly impressed with how the owner is constantly grooming the beautiful yard and landscaping and maintaining clean and safe walkways

We felt we were at home! Spacious bungalow. Nice shower(no bath tub). Was cool indoors with just the fans running even with 30C temps outside. Owner very accommodating. Willing to replace any item in disrepair. Was able to create great meals with the bar fridge, two burner elements, and griddle. Beds were very comfy. 1km walk to beach. Lots of beach chairs, etc. 250m walk to bus stop; #67 takes you to Mall in Waikiki which is a short walk from the Hawaiian Hilton Village.

The property and homeowner (Leonard) were absolutely wonderful. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Leonard was a delight to talk to. We were a 7 minute walk to the beautiful Kailua beach and 5 minutes from shopping, grocery stores, and tasty treats. About 30 minutes from all the "big to-do's" on the island. Would definitely recommend.

This place couldn’t have been more prefect! It’s located on a small cul-te-sac, with no traffic, 1/4 mile south of town, and the beaches are less than 3 minutes away. The rental has everything you need for the beach. I was initially worried about the little kitchen, especially the size of the refrigerator, as I love to cook, even on vacation. But it worked out perfectly. I had plenty of room for my culinary supplies. And Leonard was a gracious host. Accommodating in every way!

Had a great stay in Kailua - much more relaxed than Honolulu. Apartment has kitchen as well as beach chairs, cooler and bodyboards to borrow which is super helpful. Parking easy out front. Leonard was great to meet and is very helpful. Great location - short drive to beautiful beaches and hikes, and a nice variety of restaurants in town. Hit Foodland for over a dozen Poke flavors! 30min drive to Waikiki, a bit over an hour to North Shore. Check out the Poi Factory and Nico's restaurants, plus the Toa Luau and Matsumoto's Shaved Ice in Haleiwa. For hikes: Makapu'u Lighthouse, Lanikai Pillbox and Diamond Head Crater all are a good workout with awesome trails and views.
