We have internet and a new Large Flat Screen TV. There is a spacious lawn behind the complex, a coin operated laundry and one assigned parking space. surfers, windsurfers, kite-surfers as well as tourists from all around the world visit us and enjoy!

My husband and I come to Maui for windsurfing, and the Kuau Plaza is our favorite place to stay. It's a short drive to Hookipa and Kanaha beaches, and all we have to do for a wind report is look out the window. Paula and Cliff were very accommodating, easy to reach and quick to respond. Yes, it's a bit dated but it's very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The third floor view is amazing and we love the nearby beaches. Paia is a long walk down a busy highway, but Kuau Store is next door and has a great selection (and their espresso is the best!). All in all we had a great time for an incredible value and we definitely hope to stay again!

Recommended for people who just need a basic home base to adventure from. Not fancy, a little dated and worn, but clean and comfortable. Highway noise wasn't too bad with fans going. Kuau beaches nearby are very nice and secluded. Kuau store good coffee, brek sandwich, poke bowls. Overall good value, we'd come back. Mahalo for the hospitality

The property was perfect and had everything we could want! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves there and it was a fantastic location to base from.
Just down the road, you can view the green turtles in the water and beach! Located at Paia, there is great shopping and restaurants!
The best part of the experience were our hosts. They were warm and attentive and accommodated an amazing vacation.

We had such a comfortable stay! the location is prime for travel to different parts of the island each day. We loved the beach only a short walk through the backyard, the turtles seem to live the beach to as we saw many on several occasions. I would definitely stay here again, Mahalo for everything, it was perfect for us!

Property is dated, 30-35 years by my estimate, without upgrades. No lift, so not for someone who is not in condition to clime to a third floor.
No AC, so the only way to coll is to open balcony door facing ocean and front door window facing Hana Hwy. Opening front door window on a 3rd floor, means you hear all the cars all the time day and night as if they are next to you. My sleeping solution was to close the front door, turn on ceasing fan and sleep under wet blanket.
So if this is just a place to sleep as i described and the rest of the time you are out , rent it.
As place to relax, this is definitely not.

The area this unit is in is absolutely beautiful. First time in Paia and we love the area. Be aware the unit is on the third floor and there is no air conditioning. For the most part this was ok. Could use some updating (kitchen), but was nice. We would stay here again.
